To be honest, I am glad Charlotte found Trey because if it weren’t for their divorce, she wouldn’t have found her true Mr. Right, Harry. I still love her relationship with Harry and Charlotte is my favorite character.

The fact Charlotte changed religion for Harry haunts me to this day( There's something very wrong about it. And it's not the religion itself, it's this.. compliance that Charlotte so willingly demonstrates. Also Harry doesn't even practice the religion that forbids him from marrying outside of it.

@ true and when I say this, this is me stating an example of what you just said, not me hating on Harry. I forget the name of the holiday and meal (my ignorance. Sorry), but Charlotte put a lot of time and effort in it and Harry didn’t care. He just wanted to watch the game. So if he did care about his religion and practices, he would have paid attention to Charlotte and appreciated her effort. But one moment that made this up for me was when he didn’t judge Charlotte for having a Christmas tree and wanting some of her traditions. But whether we practice a religion or not, stuff like feeling you can’t marry someone comes from familial pressure and you don’t want to do something that makes you shunned from your family so I wonder if that is where Harry is coming from. But I can’t hate on Charlotte for converting because she put time and thought into it and did try to respect the culture and religion she was converting into. But do understand your point.

@@oneshotonehit6731 Ehhh. I don’t think Charlotte is shown to be particularly devout or religious. She celebrates Christmas, but so do most secular/non-religious people in America. I see it as more a compromise she made to be with him, because she loves him. As another person said, Harry isn’t particularly devout either, so I don’t think he expected her to ‘convert’ much more than in name. Her going out of her way to go above and beyond is more a demonstration of Charlotte’s character than Harry’s (and mismatched expectations + miscommunication). Some people might not be willing to compromise on religion, but, for two people who aren’t particularly devout, it likely wouldn’t be as big of a deal.

@@gabrielleduplessis7388 Yeah, to me, it seemed like the familial obligation- given that he made that promise to his dead mother (grandmother?) and feels like he can’t change it- was more important than the actual religion. I saw the episode about Charlotte going above and beyond for a Jewish holiday more as a reflection of Charlotte’s tendency to over-plan big events (see Miranda’s baby shower) and miscommunication around how important the holiday actually was to Harry. Harry should’ve clarified his expectations, as well (like did he actually expect her to get rid of all her Christmas stuff? it didn’t seem like he did). Mismatched expectations is a pretty common issue in relationships, tbh.

Regarding the prenup - my husband and I are very much a middle-class pair. We didn't get a prenup exactly; however, we did get something like a notarized "division of assets/separate income" agreement. People often think about it in terms of divorce - I didn't at all. I just felt like it could protect us both since, in my country, individually taken debt, for example, would not affect the other person legally at all. I have my own business, and it just made sense. We have separate accounts but very much support each other financially. To each their own; I know some people hate the idea itself! Love your videos! x

Trey is my favorite partner out of all of the guys in the show. Except for the fact that he’s basically married to his mom. 😷he learns how to stand up to her in the end tho and always protects and defends charlotte. Ya he’s a p addict but he was willing to quit just for her. He matures a lot and very generous and organized. He’s always been very transparent, honest, and genuine throughout.

He’s not my favorite, but I agree. He’s open to learning about his partner and trying his best. Ultimately their breakup was pretty amicable (and for a totally understandable reason) and he tried to give Charlotte a fair break in the divorce.

For me Trey is everything in the shopping window but nothing inside of the shop 😂😂😂 The worst he was about the baby theme. That was sooo insensitive thing and cruel and not funny at all. Also he's the worst example of a mama's boy. The scene of him in the bathroom with his mother still haunts me 😮

In my opinion, Charlotte asked Trey to marry her simply because she was expecting to hear the proposal, but as it didn't come out of Trey's mouth, she felt compelled to say it just so she could hear it. She physically couldn't hold her breath anymore in that very moment. Also, this was building up in her mind because she thought Trey was very much suggestible.

Pre nups are not just for rich people, it can also be to lay out money that will be protected for the wife in the event she becomes a stay at home mom (setting up an account in her name and laying out what assets should be in her name after childbirth and parental work).
