Hello and welcome back to another Weekly Vlog! On Monday I finally saw one of my best friends and her children for the first time since Christmas. In the evening, no-one turned up to the Mental Health Group I run, so I ended up watching Frozen 2.
I felt really unwell on Tuesday morning, so ended up going back to bed for the morning. Thankfully I felt a bit better by lunch time, and I got to enjoy having Noah and Maisie here. Unfortunately though, after they'd gone, I had a fall, which left me feeling pretty shaken up and very sore. Wednesday I still wasn't feeling great, but we went to a Pick Your Own place - It rained a lot, but we had a lovely time.
On Thursday, I tried to ring Adult Services, as I still didn't know what was happening about my carer/PA starting. They said someone would call me back (again!) but they didn't and I was getting very stressed. On Friday morning, I had a virtual Council meeting and had phone calls from Motability and the Respiratory Physio to book an appointment. After ringing Adult Services a few more times, I finally got the news that my hours had been approved and my PA could start on Monday.
I didn't film much on Saturday, as I didn't feel that well, but did manage to nearly finish editing Richard and Lisa's wedding video. On Sunday, I did some more sorting and tidying in my room, then opened some post, which I thought I would share with you.
I really hope you enjoy watching - please do drop me a comment and let me know how you're getting on and what you've been up to this week. And also please let me know if there are any videos you would like me to film.

I'm up to Feb vlogs as I only found your channel a few days ago so decided to start with the 2020 vlogs. I'm really enjoying them and they are keeping me company as I'm off sick for 2 weeks. Im waiting for a rheumatology appointment for suspected arthritis and to get my hyper mobility reconsidered to hsd or heds. I have so many things in common with other people with heds so it is nice to find an English person with similar problems of a similar age as your content is more relatable. Hope you are all keeping as well as possible x

Thank you so much for your comment - sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been struggling to keep on top of things with my health not being great, but am gradually getting there and really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment :) Ah thank you so much for watching back my vlogs - that's put such a smile on my face that you're enjoying them and they keep you company :) Sorry to hear you were off sick for 2 weeks. Are you feeling any better now or were you off for chronic illness related things? I hope your Rheumatology appointment comes through soon, although I know how hard it is to get appointments at the moment. I'm glad you're able to relate to my content - that's one of the reasons I make videos, so others with similar conditions feel a bit less alone (as I know how lonely it can be when you're chronically ill). Have you heard of the charity EDS UK? If not, I would really recommend checking them out, as they've helped me so much with getting a diagnosis and understanding my condition. I hope you're keeping as well as possible too xx

You'll have to let me know how you get on with one on your walking stick xx

I waited for 9 weeks for my Cambridge Mask Pro. It is roasting because have to wear a fabric one on top to cover valve as sealing valve makes it feel like going to suffocate. Mine is only navy as that was only option. Mine was in a different tin and had a free ear strap. Glasses shouldn't mist up with Cambridge due to the seal.

Thank you for your comment - sorry it's taken me so long to reply - I've been struggling to keep on top of everything with my health not being great, but I do really appreciate you leaving a comment :) Sorry to hear you had to wait so long for your Cambridge Mask - it seemed to vary a lot from what I saw in the comments on their posts. It must get really hot having to wear a fabric one on top. But I know what you mean about covering the valve feeling like you're going to suffocate! That's good you got the free ear strap - I use that with mine and find it much better than just having it on my ears. And I rarely have any trouble with my glasses steaming up, which is good :) x
