Review - Longchamp Cuir Crossbody in Cherry

You can also shorten the strap by pulling the cord from the inside of the bag and knotting it at the desired length. I have this bag too in lemon. Your cherry is very pretty!

Love seeing another person who appreciates this bag! I have the black version, and it's my favourite bag: looks tiny, holds loads, has held up really well after heavy use for a year. I'm tall, so the strap length suits me - but good tip about adjusting it from the inside. Beautiful cherry colour, too... Enjoy: it will serve you well!

Hey, i enjoyed your video ! How about the wear and tear on your Cuir crossbody after 2 almost 3 years now? I just bought the same bag as you in pilot blue and have second thoughts about it. I'm worried about color transfer, marks since the leather is so soft and rubbing on the corners like on every Longchamp. Have you had any issues with yours ? In what condition is it now? I'm a little disappointed too since the one i bought is made in China (and i live in france :-( ).

Congrats on your new addition! I could do a wear and tear video however there really hasn't been any wear on mine. I change my bags a lot and I am very careful with my cuirs in particular because I am paranoid about corner wear. I haven't had any color transfer on mine but I don't really wear a lot of denim. I haven't noticed any marks on the leather at all and I am very careful with not bumping into things with the corners. I do make sure I condition the corners very gently after I use it to help protect them and I haven't had any issues. However I have seen this bag at a Saks off 5th before (it was also in a blue color but I'm not sure which one) and there was already wear on the corners like the dye had all been rubbed off. Mine is also made in China too which does suck but I don't think that should affect the quality. There is also a product called "edge kote" that some people recommend for the corners (make sure you get it in clear though, not black) however I haven't used it myself so I can't really offer much advice on that route. I think it mostly comes down to how you handle your bag, if you want something you can be really care free with and not worry about, the cuir might not be the best option. However if your generally careful with your bags it should work out ok for you :)

Yes my Marshalls gets in a lot of Longchamp! Sometimes you can find them at Winners as well :) some Holt Renfrews carry them (and they are available online now yay!!) as well as Blu's Womens Wear :)

I don't because I don't really have a storage system haha, there are just bags in there dust bags all over my bedroom lol. Once the shelves in my closet filled up out they spilled onto the chaise, and now they are moving onto the bench haha. I need to find a new system that works. But maybe I can do a video on the search to find a way to store them haha.

I have just the same one... i didn't know the marshalls sold longchamp!!! I should take a trip to marshalls... a tip: you have to shorten the strap from inside the bag, making another knot in each side! =)

You can also shorten the strap by pulling it inside the bag and tying it to.the.lenght you want it. I, for one, LOVE the strap lwngth as it is, because I'm very tall and most crossbody bags hang in a weird place on my hip.

If they were "thin" then yes, like if you could fit them in the Louis Vuitton Sunglass case I think they would fit. but if they are larger then no they would be to bulky.

No definitely not, it can maybe fit like a debit card or gift card, metro pass, that kind of thing, but no it is much to small for a phone.

It's about 9 inches or 23 cm depending on if your metric or not :) I don't know if they make them smaller now or not. This one is a few years old.

Alberta, Canada. We just got Marshalls last spring and I can always find awesome things there. However my best friend, who has recently transplanted to the USA said that Marshalls down there is not a nice place, which is unfortunate.
