Okay it is time, it’s another season, and with that comes another anti-haul! It’s winter this time, the holidays are coming up with all those parties and cosy walks around town and all of a sudden we get into shopping spree mode, don’t we. The only expensive silk slip dress I own I bought specifically in a blood red. It's one of those colours that always makes an impression because almost everybody is scared of wearing it, so that's why I chose it lol. Also red in a great material is one way of making a very simple minimal garment like a slip midi dress look special.

Really love the red trend! Not as a head to toe outfit but in details such as a layered red turtleneck underneath something or a pair of red tights. Was about to purchase some items but this video made me aware that this is indeed a trend thing and I am gonna think about it a bit longer. Let’s see if I’ll still be into it in a couple of months. a layering video for really cold weather would be nice! Live in Norway, and i find it hard to be fashionable when it gets really cold, wich is most of the year in northern norway. Would love to be able to do something else then put on a huuuuuge puff coat. or at least, how to style the more bulky outfits. :)

I think the only influence trends have on me is in terms of fun new silhouettes. Colours and specific items I usually ignore. My wardrobe is very loud, I wear red, purple and orange the most, they make me feel so good and beautiful. So red as a trend makes me giggle! loved the video Jenny :)

I usually hate red, but I love the orangey red sweaters I’ve been seeing and would totally invest in one. I think any well made garment in a beautiful color is timeless and this color in particular gives me a vintage vibe for some reason. Also, I have several metallic pairs of shoes that I wear over and over and I think are more versatile than plain black.

I have a red jumpsuit in this tone of red and I LOVE it! I wore it to a lot of events and weddings and always get compliments. I also have a Christmas red clutch and a jumper - all bought second hand and years ago (and I really like to wear it in summer, too). I think they will be in my wardrobe for a long time...

Honestly I loooove that shade of red, and I'd wear a head to toe look in it any time of the year. I think some of these trends touch on specific individuals enjoyed styles! Truly I really love metallic shoes and that particular shade of red, and they've both been cycling in my wardrobe since I started shopping for myself as a kid. No matter what trends roll around, I always remember that when I'm "out of style" truly I'm just ahead of the next trend.

I have beautiful red pure Italian wool coat that I got from H&M (would you believe?!) years ago. It’s an oversized boyfriend cut so it’s remained in my closet throughout many(!) weight fluctuations. I don’t care if it’s on trend or not…I wear it every winter regardless ❤

Red is my favorite color and I've been buying and wearing red clothing for as long as I can remember. I love winter time because I have a red trench coat (carmen sandiego style) and a bright red puffer that are perfect for the weather. I also have a red beret and bright red lipstick and a few red scarves. I definitely make use of them but I would definitely not do the same with a color I don't feel as connected to, like brown or blue

I have a lovely red sheath dress that is all lace. It's the quintessential "little black dress" in a killer red. So classic! I've had it for nearly a decade and I know it won't go out of style. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dress that can go from date night to wedding reception.

Hey! I wear red and burgundy constantly as a pop of colour and have been doing it for years (i basically wear 3 colours: red, black & white). I love to wear it as a 60s look or 90s inspired style :) I think it works, but only if it's truly part of your style!

It's a wonderful feeling to know for sure that everything you love is already hanging in your closet. Trends come and go, but there's enough well-curated variety in my wardrobe to create any look I enjoy. My style tends to lean 'sexy Central African librarian from the 70s' - mixed prints and textures, overalls, natural fibers, chunky accessories - but lately I've been feeling more somber and sedate, going more sleek and minimalist: simple lines, solid colors. I have to say that for me, metallics are very much a staple year in and out - they like leather are very much classic neutrals in my wardrobe. Thanks as always for the great video. xo

I have to say, I wear reds (also bright ones) all year round😊 But doing a head-to-toe red look I feel only fits during winter holiday time...and even then with a mix of textures and/or shades❤

Last trend is the most interesting. Please make a video on it! And red - I love it, don’t have many pieces, but this color is so sexy and powerful. I prefer when it is less bright , more toned, but this type of red is sometimes hard to find. Nevertheless red will always be a powerful color

I own a red, like, Christmas-red coat and I've been wearing it for the past 4 years every winter. I get nice comments, questions like "where did you buy it", "you look so elegant" every other day. Usually pairing it with neutral colors, but also patterns : flowers, houndstooth... The coat has nice details on the sleeves that makes it "special" and not just your Santa coat. 😂 Definitely not "dated" ! 💖 Sounds obvious but my best advice is to wear what compliments you and suits your personnality. Clearly I couldn't rock like you the yellow coat you're wearing in your video. ✨✨

I love bright Christmas/fire truck reds so much. I owned two tops that are easy to style with my neutral clothes. I don't think I will be buying them again this year because they fade or darken after a few washes. I still enjoy the color they fade to and wear these shades throughout the year.

In winter I usually care more about if I can wear a piece actually with any coats or jackets I own. And that is not a lot of pieces 😂 Maxi dresses, no (snow?!), even skirts with tights often look just off because it's not matching the length of the coat and finally the shoes...with snow and everything. So most of the time it will be jeans or other trousers with very warm tights underneath and a warm and nice sweater

Well I have just got a silver sequin dress from a swap party! I have a red dress that I bought from Primark in 2010 it's almost the same as a princess in a Soviet cartoon. I have a few other second hand red items. I have a few clutches that I have had for 14 years or so, that I have not used for a while.. I don't mind holding them, but what are you supposed to do when you need the loo? I won't be buying anything new.

I love this outfit you are wearing as you host this! I like red but not solid red ever! I am not a fan of most of these fashions. I agree with you about too tight and too loose with maxi dresses. I wear belts if something is too loose or I feel like I'm in a moomoo. I am a floral wearer but not the way these were shown. I like a more romantic floral. Flowy and pretty types. Sundress types. I have one clutch bag that I've used for a decade. It is a simply somewhat flat black rectangle and is a sustainable ethical company that made it. It is simple and has served me well for holding my phone, keys, and ID at weddings and such. I like layers but not sweaters that look like ones my grandma tried to buy me in the late 1980s/early 1990s or wore herself. Itchy feeling. I don't want granny to have that moomoo look I mentioned. It is interesting because one of my grandmothers was very stylish in the 1940s and 1950s, and then she lost it afterwards.

But it has to be the right shade so if I can’t find the right shade, it’ll have to wait. I want socks and a hat, maybe some mitts. That’s about it. I love red but for me, less is definitely more. Honestly, I love the red, but I think people need to be careful about buying into it because many might feel it doesn't actually suit them. Red is my favourite colour, but bright colours usually don't look great on me so I'm open to adding deeper/muted reds to my wardrobe.

I feel uninspired. I only have one style, which is 2016 soft grunge, that I know how to style well. But I am not a teenager anymore, so for a long time it was about figuring out how to adjust it to my ageing and now I just burned out. I wear the same three things on rotation and I don’t even feel exited about new trends, because all of them look kinda flimsy. The bows are gonna untie, the lowrise jeans are gonna fall off and so on. I need structurally not anxiety inducing trends. Trends that will keep my failing organs warm lol. And retain a bit of that 2016 edge.
