Summer Homestead Tour + Subscriber Gift (Vlog)

We are Jenny and Dominic, we are learning to homestead since August of 2020 on our property in Nova Scotia, Canada. This week we are deep into summer chores with moving our pastured pigs, butchering chickens, and pretending we know how to garden. We make it official with a handmade sign for our homestead and find the time to take you on a mini tour of all of the things we have going on on our homestead currently.

Great update on everything!!! LOVE that sign, very rustic! Will you be getting a batch of meat birds in September, or did you get one last year at that time? Wondering how they do in the cooler months? I dont think you linked the butchering video 🤔

It's really beautiful! We were but my brother in law is trying his hand at them so the batch went to his house! He decided to try a little too late and we ordered a little too many so it worked out great!

Your garden is doing amazing! Your carrots look great. Potatoes too! The sign is really nice. What a thoughtful gift. My opinion, the sheep are saying "Meh." That's sheep for you, everything is "meh" to them. The song got it wrong. Nice obligatory tractor centerfold lol! Good to see you guys as always. What a great video and homestead! You might like to try out "Hodge Podge", or "Hodgepodge" the way " cooper68ns " does with his video on his channel. He hasn't posted in a while, but he has some great videos on growing potatoes, sleigh rides, etc.. He is from the New Ross, NS area.
