It's safe to say that most everyone knows a snooty person, whether it's a relative or a friend or an acquaintance, and some may have even been the victim of their tongue lashing. IMO, these people are not worth a moment of your thought---they are nothing more than grown up bullies who put others down in order to feel good about themselves. I have known a few of these types, and the truth is that many of them are living way above their means and struggle paycheck to paycheck & living off of credit cards, all the while pretending to be better off than others---it's all a facade! It's much better to live an authentic life without all the unnecessary drama.

Goodness' sake, what a wonderful story to learn. We all have been there, both sides, under-pressure and overpressure. But, don't let these things get to you, it's usually normal. Most of the time, it's just miscommunication. Yes, there are those that choses hate and envy, and they are so easy to see. And, we don't need to give them any of our attention, especially our precious emotions. So, don't get mad and stay happy. It is their loss because we have so much to share. When it come to children and their future, remember that each has their own lives and must make their own decisions. We can help by giving good options and guidance, but we cannot make the choices for them. So, encourage the best you can but accept and love on any journey that they plan. And, at the end, accept some humility for you have done the best that you can. It's time to rest, comes to peace, and watch goodness grow the best that it can.

Yea people used to look down on me n talk down to me when i was young. But they dont know me or anything about me. For example one of my aunts hubby loves to greet me by telling me how fat i am n asking me how much i make bc hes always trying to make sure my siblings n i r not more successful than his own kids (who by the way dont even care about him).
