I am really enjoying this combo. I was away for a couple weeks and did not take a project with me except to get together with my great granddaughters and work on a craft project and we had so much fun. I get home and lost the internet over the weekend and I think I had withdrawals on working on this album but catching up now. Thank you. Love this album so far.

Your right I wasn't thinking. If you make one post it to your page and tag me. I'm not hard to find lol. I've been thinking about it my self but I have been too excited about making her albums to just stop and create something else. I know you know what I mean. I just get so involved in her designs that I absolutely can't think about anything else until it's done. Thank you for reminding me. If I make one I'll post to my FB and tag you if you would like. Have a blessed day!

Hi Jen, I always watch and like all your videos but I don't often comment but this time I feel I need to, you don't need to change anything! I love your videos, they're always fun to watch, you explain everything so well and your attention to detail is amazing, don't change a thing! Your accent is amazing I find myself laughing with you all the time. Who cares what anyone says you just keep being you! We all love your videos and I appreciate how long it takes to prepare for a long video, something I've learned since doing videos myself is that you can't please all of the people all of the time, we all have a choice to keep watching or not and if other people don't like how you speak or the terminology you use then oh well! You just keep being you lovely lady xxx

Have you thought about putting the bottle of glue in a glass while you are working so the glue stays at the top? I’d leave the lid on so it doesn’t go everywhere, but would help with the waiting.

@jen of eve - Jen - is there any possibility that you remember what type of paper your mom used to create the awesome washi for you? I am trying to find some paper with the variety of sizes on the paper and I cannot find anything... I could be putting the wrong information in the search engine but I just cannot figure it out. I am from South Carolina and I don’t think I have an accent but I LOVE yours... you are amazing and inspiring and truly talented! Thank you for sharing your incredible projects! after reading some of the comments I feel the need to voice my opinion...lol Girl dont change a thing... I watch you because I love your personality and want to have fun with my craft... I feel most of us scrapbook for the enjoyment of it. In so doing it takes the stress of everyday living away and we get to enter your world of creativeness. Keep up the good work and dont pay any attention to the no accent people... they be just jealous of our cute way of speaking... lol lol

Beautiful work! I adore your accent, I can’t believe people made fun of it? If they don’t like it, don’t watch! Anyhoo... I was watching you wait patiently for the fabri tac (oh how I wish we had that here in Aus!) & I thought it would be good to keep it upside down in a glass or mug so you don’t have to wait for it to come down the tip.. I have no patience whatsoever, so I was thinking how that would annoy me & what I would do.. I hope you don’t mind me making the suggestion :)

Jen, I miter my corners/tab. It doesn't matter how you say it, most of us get it. Idk if you've tried using a small acrylic block to cut your scortape instead of scissors so that you don't have to keep removing the roll from your hand. MayMay showed it in one of her tutorials and it helps me. Love your creations and beautiful accent .

So I was curious about the pronunciation of Sookwang because I pronounce it just like Jen and many of you. I found a website that has 3 different pronunciations. The first one pronounces it just like Jen does! Here's the site: www.howtopronounce.com/sookwang/ it was fun just looking it up for my self. :)

Jen the only thing that I would change is how you refer to your pages. Techniquely, we are working on the 2nd signature or page 4. I have been commenting on everyone's videos. I happen to be a huge fan of bookmaking and if you were to ask "Nik the Book Smith" she would totally agree with me. I love you and your videos and can't wait to get started. I am using A4 and 6x6 paper pads as well. I'll let you know how it works out.

Web Rookie, the "lost Love that you described above is a beautiful journey through her specific adventure and it seems she is sharing a slightly unfinished album with us. She will keep it and later give it to her child or share it with family and friends. It is a way to express her feelings. The albums that I create I sell. Often I have a specific customer for an album but sometimes the paper and artist (like Jen of Eve) has inspired me to create either the same or similar work of art. These pieces often are sold as well. I have a large local following as I display at local venues. I have made albums for my children and 2 for my granddaughter. It really depends on my mood, the paper I find, and the inspiration behind the paper. I hope this helps. Remember you don't have to use the same paper any paper will work as long as it works with the template you have chosen to work with. I really hope that this settles your mind and helps you decide to give it a go. Good Luck and God Bless!

Web Rookie, the mini albums are a way of scrapbooking. Generally, they focus on a specific event like a wedding, birthday, child's milestone, graduation, engagement the list is endless. Perhaps it's your families annual photo shoot and you want a special place to put those photos. You also have space to journal about the event on the small cards that are available in the paper collection. Now, Nik the Book Smith usually builds journals that you write in, paste photos into, sketch or doodle in. Nik's journals might be considered an advanced or artistic way to journal. Back in the 1920's woman often added photo's of family and loved ones as well as lace scraps from clothing or needlework that they had completed into their journals. I hope this helps in your deciphering of these albums.

Why what?
@NiteOwlCrafter7 жыл бұрын
yes, I want you to enjoy my album. I want you to journal and paste photo's and ad ticket stubs or movie tickets. They are a functional piece of art that I want you to add your beautiful memories to. I want you to share your memories and continue to grow from the memories you look back on.
