Rather surprised the bike won. It takes me about an hour to cycle 10 miles, assuming I'm fit (which I'm not, at the moment). Next weekend will be my first visit to Manchester by train, although I have done Victoria, Piccadilly, and Oxford Road (plus Salford Crescent) already but starting and finishing at Oxford Road. Interestingly, my journey there is via the ECML and Huddersfield, but my journey back is via the WCML and the Tyne Valley line.

Need the proper infrastructure for it first though. Most people would not cycle down the A6 in its current state. Manchester seriously needs to up its game.

Great video. The 192 is great, but gets snarled up when it hits Levenshulme. I often used to see 7 in a row when I lived there. Got a little emotional when I sae Devonshire Street and Ardwick roundabout.

Every Saturday and Sunday I cycle 16 miles each way across North Norfolk (the hilly bit) to run my shop, and manage to do it 15 minutes quicker than the bus, despite being waaaay the wrong side of 60. Ebikes are definitely the way to travel.... ;~)
