I just subscribed to you today. Sadly, there are so many influencers who aren't honest. How can an influencer announce their HG skincare product one week and two weeks later proclaim the same thing about a completely different brand and/or product. I fully admit that I have bitten the viral product apple more times than I should have. The reason I subscribed to you is because I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now, and I completely believe that you mean everything you say about a product. You don't hesitate when you dislike a product. I love that you describe in detail your recommendations, good or bad. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and due to all the medications I take, my skin has significantly changed. I'm 59 and I was actually proud of the skin I had. No botox or fillers and very few wrinkles. Now, it's so much dryer and way more sensitive than it used to be. I have been trying to get products that can help address my new issues. Some work most have not. Im left with a disappointing feeling of failure. That's where your videos come in. They have helped. I have a light neutral (more cool tone now) skin tone, so I could likely get away with using the same colors you do. Your makeup is always on point. It's fresh and natural, exactly the look I want. If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear them. Thank you for doing what you do. You have inspired me without even knowing it. 🩷

You had some really good products to review today! The foundation looks really good on you! This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t like or understand skincare in cosmetics. How is it beneficial to the wearer? If I’ve already done my skincare and applied my sunscreen, the minimal amount of skincare that’s in the foundation will never penetrate deep enough into my skin to do anything. The only thing that skincare does is adding to the price of the foundation. But then again, no one is forcing me to buy it😅. Btw, the colours and tones of the Merit blushes are gorgeous! 💕

Jen i know you don't do surgeries BUT when I was at my eye Dr in my early 30's and he said he could get rid of the hooded eye thing. I would have never sought it out but I did look tired all the time. I'll be 70 in May and it was the best thing I've ever done. It's held up and I think it was worth every penny. I think it was only $1200 back then...love your channel!

I love how you went into details about the brushes and why it would perform well for your type or eyes. There's so many videos out there showing how to do you eye makeup but they dont talk go in depth about the brushes use. Its always, get a fluffy brush to blend. (You you showed, brushes are name the same, but made too tapered, too wide, too hard, etc.) Please make a video of your favorite brush collections. Especially your eye brush collection and why you love them.

Does the Dior foundation have as much fragrance as their new stick foundation? I tried the stick and absolutely adored the finish and the look of the product but the fragrance was way too intense for me with such a perfume scent that I had to return😢. Hi Jen, thanks for the video! I love your makeup and hair in this one. You're absolutely right about the Dior foundation having fragrance in it. It has several fragrant ingredients as well as added fragrance. Typical for Dior; I'd be surprised if they released a fragrance free foundation! In contrast, the Colourpop primer and setting spray don't contain fragrance or alcohol. I think this is the *only* setting spray I've come across that doesn't have fragrance or alcohol! I could actually use this one!

I picked up the limited edition pillow balm set on Ulta for $18. It has two full size ones that had shimmer. I really like them, they are very comfortable. Thanks for swatching the Merit blushes! I love that formula but those colors don’t look like must haves for me. I also found a brand on YesStyle called Czel I think, that has some that are very similar. They are the exact size of the Merit minis and they seem to be almost identical, formula wise. Maybe a little more pigmented than the Merit. But I think it was like $4.

Was looking at Moira’s website and added a few of the blushes to my cart so I’m happy I saw the demos. Based on the swatches and applications the Merit ones look a little less shiny which I think would work for me better than Moira’s formula - I have oily skin so I have to prep with matte products so I’d be worried that the Moira one would break apart faster. But the shades from both brands are beautiful & so close, too!
