I've learned that getting out of debt has to be intentional. It's work! Which is why many people don't do anything about it. I'm a loan officer assistant and it just blows my kind how many people don't know how much they really bring home in income or even what their credit card balances are. 🙈 Thanks for the video! Can't wait to get my budget system setup!! Happy New Year!!

more importantly, why are we learning this as adults instead of when growing up so we can be prepared to live debt free? thanks for your insight! you're right, it has become the norm and it's so exhausting. where do we start?
@melissamuddle64596 жыл бұрын
mrs ivt because parents are lazy and leave their children's entire education to public schools then they set poor spending examples and it leaves children confused about spending/budgeting.
@LakeshiaRosser6 жыл бұрын
@@melissamuddle6459 Sometimes parents struggle and their parents struggled and weren't able to set the best financial examples this in turn impacts the childrens thoughts about money one way or another. They either get used to struggling and never learn how not to or they remember their struggles and never want to be that way as adults. From what I've witnessed people who struggle tend to be some of the hardest workers and are far from lazy. Be careful what you say about parents and their parenting.....

I absolutely love the way you utilize your planner for your budget, definitely going to be joining the color coding version like you do. I love the way you explain little details. I am so looking forward to starting this hopefully to be in full swing by next January. It may take me the rest of this year to get things organized and set up so that I can actually start it next January. It will take me that long to finish setting up my current new life planner I just started with Erin Condren in February, taking some time to get it set up with all the info I am going to need and then help my mom with hers as well. Thanks again for all you have shared, can't wait to see the next video with your sinking fund budget the one thing I don't have set up yet for sure.

I really like the way you have set up your planner. Currently I’ve been using an excel spreadsheet to track our monthly bills and debt. We’ve been following his plan and will be debt free in about 2 1/2 years.
