Once we get our Battle Born Lifepo batteries installed, this will hopefully be a moot question. But for now, let's just see what that generator can do on one tank of gas!

So your Catamaran was not equipped with diesel generator? Becos of tight space?

They don’t typically come in the smaller charter cats. And we don’t want one, so it works out.

Great video - thanks! It may be hard to appreciate with Honda running but what do you think of noise level of HP pump? Also, any idea how this brand can obtain 40 g/hr using 1 HP pump, whereas it seems the other good brand (Cruise RO) needs a 1.5 HP pump for 40 g/h and apparently cannot run off Honda? Thanks again for a really helpful set of videos on instal and running!

Thanks so much for watching! The noise level isn’t terrible. I’m looking forward to getting the inverter installed so that we reduce the noise level to just the water maker vs watermaker AND Honda generator. No experience with Cruise RO, but it comes down to motor selection. The motors must be different between brands. Or maybe the pump. Not sure.
