Clean hit. I do think the refs need to start penalizing the hits thrown after a clean hit. Like by the rules that is interference so call it that. When you extend your elbow away from the body while making the hit ,it becomes an " elbowing" call.

This wasn’t even remotely close to being elbowing. Every hit you see the person hitting pushing their arm out. It’s when the elbow is already extended when it’s elbowing call

@Ratstick587 ай бұрын
Height difference. Trouba also stands up a lot and lives in this gray area. The hits definitely seem high when you first view but it’s usually the forward bending over super far and a taller dude just standing and making a legal check. Is it “headhunting” sometimes? Possibly. But if you were to make hits like that illegal, everyone would just bend over like they were taking a shit when they have the puck to draw penalties. It’s kinda a murky area but it’s a clean hit. Keep the head up and the problem goes away.

@mgtowdadYouTubeSucksCoxks7 ай бұрын
@@TheKitKatThe it's not always a lose-lose, it just depends. If you have a team who's just getting checked and beat up, pushed and checked off of pucks. Your captain keeps getting sandwiched and the such. Sometimes the thing that a team needs to do to exert their dominance, when they are a less physical team, is be physical in another way. And show the other team that there are limits that will not be pushed. This is why, sometimes, fighting after a big clean hit, where the other team continuously embarrasses and dominates you, and literally embarrassed and dominated you again. Someone needs to step up. More so, when you're not doing so on the scoreboard.
