Jensen used to sing harmony for some of his musician friends. So his issue was singing lead infront of people. He couldn't fade into the background

He was sincerely shy, not just with singing. He's talked about his shyness before and that he has trouble with impromptu public speaking. At this time, he was not super sure of his singing talent. He has come a long long way, as you know! I just have to add... His last name is a short A. Sounds like "ack" not "ache."
