Everyone has their own taste and I get it. But once in a while you come across an artist like Jansen that you just adore from the first song. How could anybody dislike this incredibly talented and beautiful woman? I am personally amazed by her. Anyone else hear a Tracy Chapman influence? it's such a subtle detail that all the low notes correlate with the depressing self-deprecating lyrics. on some melodies you start out or go high with some notes/pitches, but then always end the verse with a steady decline to lower notes, the lower portion of it, taking the pessimistic view of the situation/problem presented from the first line.
