It honestly upsets me that people aren't talking about this woman's voice. I haven't heard anybody that sounds like her, she sings with such a depth of emotion and her voice is so uniquely lovely. And her lyrics are so good! Someday the world is gonna hear her and be better for it.

this is just my subjective take but for me this resonates about growing up, being depressed/struggling, and looking back at how much promise and energy you once had. you once had dreams that you could fly, you were machine-like in your ability to do anything you set your mind to, now you're getting cut in line at the bookstore and hitting on your brother's basketball coach
