16 degrees Fahrenheit is cold but here in Ottawa, Canada it's usually an average of -4 to -13 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to -25 degrees Celsius) in the winter and that's without the windchill. With the windchill it can get down to -40 sometimes. Now THAT'S cold!
