Sometimes when Button looks in his rear view mirror while he's driving, he'll see Kobayashi in his mirror and it gives him a little scare.

If I could choose any driver to bring back into F1 again, without any shadow of a doubt it would be Kamui. I couldn't believe that this was his first ever race whilst watching it live in 2010. I still find it a little mad a dozen years later. If only Toyota had stayed in F1 one more season...
@kben242 жыл бұрын
Toyota would’ve had the 2nd best car on the grid behind Red Bull… I really believe that!!
@JT-ko2ib2 жыл бұрын
@@kben24 Nah, they would have messed up again. 2009 was a high point. A champion driver could have had 2/3 wins in that car.

@@JT-ko2ib Red Bull, Ferrari, & Mclaren we’re Top 3 in 2010. Toyota would’ve been no lower than 4th… with Glock & Kobayashi getting some podiums, possibly a win. Raikkonen was offered a contract for 2010 as well.

The camera work in that era was so damn good, they make the cars actually look fast compared to modern F1.
@joh24342 жыл бұрын
They looked faster back then because they were much smaller. They want to reduce the size of the cars for 2026, hope they do 🤞
@10acious322 жыл бұрын
@@joh2434 that on top of the FOV and use of stagnant shots that make them look fast. It's like they hired photographers instead of videographers for modern F1.

Man Button got lucky that his car was so damn overpowered during the first half of the season and that his teammate was so old already. He ain't a terrible driver but without that OP car he wouldn't have won the championship.
@10acious322 жыл бұрын
Without an op car none of the F1 greats would have won the championship.
@thejman992 жыл бұрын
That’s pretty off the mark. Button is terribly underrated. 3rd place in 2004 behind the two Ferraris, truly the best of the rest that year. He beat Lewis in 2011, going 1-2 with him during their time as teammates. As well as going 1-1 with Fernando when they were at Mclaren. He’s not exactly on the level of those two (not many are) but he was a great driver.

Imagine how much better this battle would have been with DRS. 🤨

Better? Like Button sailing past 200 metres before the corner on the first attempt and waving goodbye? 😅
@Firemarioflower2 жыл бұрын
You're an idiot. DRS makes racing boring...... UNLESS you mean the 2011 DRS regulations, so that the defending car has a way to fight as well instead of being a sitting duck.

@@FiremarioflowerRemember that DRS was supposed to be temporary but now it’s a crutch for F1.
