Omg I love the commentary "And he's locked the brakes! Hes Gonna go wide surely! Jenson... oh no! how did Raikonen keep that on the road? But now Jenson can come back at him, He's gotta just keep it to the right hand side, burry it up the inside. Now! Right Now! Exactly! Perfect! Well Done! They're gonna touch! They'll get away with it! Montoya thinks he's gonna have a piece of the action, Raikonen says no way your not coming through there. Great stuff from Jenson, didn't quite work out" LOL!

Absolutey superb racing! This is what F1 doesn't have enough of. These two are, in my opinion, the best drivers in F1, Jenson just doesn't have a car to prove it yet.
@AleXcr8617 жыл бұрын
Yeah those two know how to race closely but cleanly... you can see there's a great deal of respect between them. If it had been Montoya instead of Kimi, they'd have both ended up in the gravel with wheels missing.
@tom281216 жыл бұрын
also it means that the car is not using all 4 wheels to slow down and the braking is less efficient, meaning the driver is carrying more speed than usual and they are more likely to go off the track. Hence martins amazement that kimi kept it on track.

@213HBK and this was happening when Rubens was fighting for victories in the second half of the season. But Jenson is still a very good driver, definitely not an F1 grea but a worthy WDC. Something like Keke Rosberg level.
@AleXcr8616 жыл бұрын
Locking brakes isn't generally what you want to do... it "flat-spots" the tyre so you end up with a wheel that is shaped more like a fifty pence piece! That causes all sorts of horrible vibrations and tyre performance drops off very quickly. But Kimi held on pretty well there :)

Where was Button when Raikkonen won the championship? Button is racing in F1 since 2000, and his total career points are 321. Raikkonen is racing since 2001 and his total career points are 579 Where was Button when Kimi won the championship in 2007?

I so hope we are going to see Kimi back in F1...if only for Williams driver, but who knows, maybe he could get to RedBull or Mercedes the year after...anyways this is what I want to see Kimi doing in the future, Kimi is one of the best F1 drivers, WRC is just not for him.

I beg to differ as you are the only person who has tried to attack me because I said raikkonen is overrated on the videos I've watched. Your love for Raikkonen is strong. Hey yea! The affect you have on me is that of a pest :D . :D :D

Well in the first part of this championship Button has won 5 or 6 races i dont remember right, and in the first part McLarens and Ferraris both had crap cars.
@nsefilms15 жыл бұрын
Bahaha, haven't laughed that hard in a while. But it seems to be working out this year, thanks to a car that's about 1 second quicker than the next fastest!

@jraybay HAH...Hamilton and Falonso are both overrated.... Kimi is the most talented F1 driver of recent years along with Kubica and Vettel....Button can be really great too, especially on conditions when the track is half wet-half dry, but sometimes he can have too many bad races in a row. And Nico, I dont think we havent seen his full potential yet, he needs a better car. But if some drivers are overrated, they are Hamilton and Santander "This is ridicilous, tell Felipe im faster" Eyebrow.

I miss racing in F1. Tired of watching the tire managers championship. breakthroughs are fake because they depend on strategy, overtakes are fake because depend on DRS. The FIA could have said with the same success that "if the driver behind is within a second, slow down and let him pass on the main straight". DRS is nothing more than that. Absolutely idiotic.
@213HBK14 жыл бұрын
Buttons so over rated. Had it not been for the fact he had the fastest car on the grid and reliability, (which are obviously of great importance and evident in all past champions having at least one of the two), he would not have won drivers title. Even more importantly tho he had a team mate who was even worse than him. Had he been partnered with a Raikkonen, Alonso or Hamilton, there is no doubt in my mind he would not have won. In the latter part of the season he even tried his utmost not to.
