The reason he screamed was because he realized what the curse was doing, everything he touches dies. Along the way he doesn't look back and doesn't see the plants die and animals running away from him. When he arrives in the town, the curse enters the houses and the lights disappear. Finally, the curse tells him the people there died because of him. "He will remain alone forever"!

Amumu unleashes his curse and destroyed the town he traveled to. "Too late it was for him, for them, the evil curse had won." His curse kills anyone around him. You can see the plants around him die throughout the video.

not that he "unleashes" but rather this curse whenever he makes a tantrum beacuse of the curse wishpering to Amumu that "he´s gonna be alone forever" tell that to a 5 yrs old mind trapped in the body of a mummy and see what happens next.

In all honesty I think he just released his ult. In a way in every video Riot makes they showcase the characters ults. After that his W is constantly active (the teardrops that do damage over time), from a game-wise point of view. From a emotional, visual point of view Eric was 100% right.

In the Champion overview for any League of Legends Champion, there is a Tab for "friends and enemies". For both Amumu and Annie (whose Cinematic you've also seen), they only have eachother listed under "friends". Its never confirmed anywhere else, but this hints towards Annie and Amumu understanding eachother because they're in the same Situation: both Kids, they have no friends and everyone is afraid of them.

The curse is that anything he touches dies. Letting it all out amplifies it into what's basically a massive aoe effect killing anything within his range. He can't control it.
