At some point this great message took a turn for a prosperity gospel... Peter said: "Silver or gold I DO NOT HAVE, but what I do have I'll give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk" (the crippled man expected money, but he didn't receive it. Instead, he received something more precious - God's love and mercy which restored his faith) The point MUST STAY ON OUR SALVATION, not fulfilling our carnal desires. Our heavenly Father knows our needs! >>>Matthew 6:33 Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will care of itself" But (unfortunately) people get most fired up when you promise them wealth, security and fame. Otherwise, like pastor Franklin's sermons...
