Dorado is on the North side of Puerto Rico, about 30-45 minutes drive West of San Juan. Humacao is located about 80 kilometers (approx 50 miles) away on the East coast of the island.

What do you think would be a good place to move if you wanted to stay by the beach, with alot of nature in a very wild and quite setting? I WANTED to move back to mexico but I figure i rather move to an island but puerto rico just seems so vast and colonized I m tryna get pointed in a direction where i can move to a place thats natural and have beach you can enjoy that highly affordable could you throw some names?

Jen must love her own voice a lot cuz in every video her voice is always amped up to the max, the guests' voice is at the minimum that sometimes inaudible althou they each have their own wireless mic. And the voice over, ugh, it startlingly pops in and out, can't even put the tv remote down cuz volume adjusting is a constant thing while watching her vids.

My wife and I own a house in Dorado del Mar (not a condo). Happy to also answer any questions. BTW, two-story houses are not allowed by HOA rules. There are a few that were constructed without proper permission. Also, the HOA is currently finalizing rules that will regulate short-term rentals. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

Ah, that explains why so few 2 level homes. Thanks for your sharing. It is a beautiful neighborhood! I love that beach, and everyone was so nice and friendly.
@ejazzlines3 жыл бұрын
@@JenThereDoneThat It is a great beach. Also, your viewers may be interested to know that Dorado del Mar is changing a bit. Retirees do still make up a large percentage of the residents, but that is slowly changing as the older folks sell their homes to downsize (and, in many cases, move to the mainland to live with family members) and younger families buy property in the development. And, there are some fabulous restaurants nearby: Kikita Beach House, Melao, and El Ladrillo are a few.

Palmas Del Mar is a great golf cart community! Golf carts may be driven in the various gated neighborhoods of Dorado, but you cannot easily go from one neighborhood to the other, they are not all in the same community.

All the negative comments come from those who enter the island as freeloaders along the coasts with no suitcase or a penny to be a public burden, releasing the envy and complexes that consume them.
