I cant stress enough how much this drama taught us about maturity in so many aspects of life, be it love life, dealing with hardship, disagrement, senior-junior behavior, supporting one another, literally everything. For this particular scene for example. We know very well they both have a crush on each other but their respect on the friendship is beyond the love it self. I cant help it but to notice how different this scene compared to those drama out there when it comes to a lovey dovey scene. This version is so natural, so real, and so mature. The way ikjun got embarrased at songhwa's terible singin, he cant even face her. Theres no "Magic Light" falls into songhwa's face when ikjun looked at her, theres no dramatic slow motion that makes her looked suddenly 10 Times prettier, the way songhwa casually wear ikjun jacket, and his little tap on her shoulder while saying "You did good". So much reallness ugh i love this drama with my whole heart 💜🥺

I love how random this scene was - it shows that IkSong remains that dynamic where they are able to talk about anything and everything under the sun and that includes Songhwa being comfortable enough to bust into a song (with very suspicious lyrics buahaha) in the middle of nowhere, and Ikjun just lets her finish her song without interrupting even though he looks so done with her HAHAH. This scene was so cute I swear!!! Well, that might be true, but also not. I mean, parallelism doesn’t have to be exact the same. The similarity is there, but the result doesn’t have to be the same. Maybe they want to show the concept of a any kind of relationship. Let’s say ‘sincerity’. RosaJu are in their 70, while IkSong in their 40, they show how sincere their relation at this moment exact the same, facing the antics of each other, while stile enjoying their company. While RosaJu don’t have options for their age besides a friend to talk to (their kids are grown up so they only have each other), IkSong still have so many chances in front IF they willing to grab it. As much as I love this pair, don’t let the worry ruin our time to enjoy their slow progress with these adorable moments. Geogjong hajima 🤗

This is what is true in reality - all successful marriages that stood the test of times are couples who went past passion and romance to being 2 people who genuinely just love spending time together everyday :-)
