I want to explain why some people don't like Jack's verses. At first, army came to the fandom for the deep and poetic lyrics that distinguished BTS from other pop artists (with hackneyed themes) and for listeners, BTS songs were like a breath of fresh air. Of course, fandom grows (in every sense of the word) and people change, but tastes can just as easily change or not change at all (and that’s okay). Secondly, speaking about the song itself... no matter what anyone says about the message and plot in the MV (yes, I know about the white prince on a horse), the song remains vulgar, even the Explicit version of Seven seems like a 'children's fairy tale' against the backdrop of the '3D' song (literally every word is an explanation of what s*x is). And I want to note that for some it’s normal to listen to such songs, but for others... it’s NOT. Not all of us listen to Cardi B or Drake, etc. artists. There are so many genres of music in the world... we can't find one that everyone likes. In conclusion, I want to say that we all know that the army consists of millions of different people differing in age, nationality, beliefs, etc. And it’s absolutely normal that someone may not like the song, and it’s absolutely normal if armies express their opinion (in a normal form without insults) we have always done this! We are closely connected with the members, it is important for them to know what we think, because they are interested in the opinions of different people who have supported them for 10 years, as they say in my country “We come up with options/make suggestions - you do the choosing" . As Jungkook said in an interview, “I communicate freely with them, they can freely communicate with me, and it is my choice whether to listen to them or not. If they say something inappropriate, that is also my choice, it is my freedom to accept it and deal with it or oppose it.” So please guys, before you shut up the person who simply wrote that “I don’t like the lyrics/I don’t like the verse/I don’t like the line in the song/I don’t like the melody/I don’t like the song as a whole” remember Jungkook’s words. The members have always been for mutual understanding, and not for discord and rude communication. P.s. Personally, I like the song, but of course it’s not something I could listen to with my parents or younger sister 😅. P.s.2. I apologize in advance for spelling errors.
