I find this song very basic generic pop song that’s been done to death and a tad crude especially the explicit lyrics are disgusting & unneeded and remind of the 90’s American hip hop/rap songs where they are degrading women as sex objects and just plain weird and obsessive, just like 7 days by Craig David & The Weekend songs that just make me cringe. I’m really hoping there is a better more in depth meaning for the lyrics & this song and it’s not just about being a F Boy and getting laid because I would be very disappointed in JK considering he has always been a gentleman and was raised by 6 other gentleman. But it will do well as it’s catchy and in English but I feel it’s not a Jungkook song that ARMYs have come to know and love.

But I'm glad the explicit version is out there for people like me who enjoy it. In no way was he crude or offensive to women. He didn't even refer to a woman at all in the lyrics. The term "fucking" doesn't always have to be crude or demeaning. As for him potentially "disappointing" you based on how he chooses to live his life, I don't think he really cares. I can guarantee you behind closed doors there's a lot more vulgar talk between the members than what this song showed. I hope you'll support JK and listen to the clean version if that's your preference. 🙏

When I first got with my husband we used to do it 8 times a week. That lasted for a couple years. Then we went down to 4-5 times a week for years. At 19 years together we were down to one time a week before he passed from cancer this past January. We were obsessed with each other. Always. If he hadn’t been battling cancer, I am sure we still would have been doing it more often. So. It is quite possible.

I will tell you how I understood all this. The lyrics of the song and the MV itself are not 100% matched, and when I say that I mean it in the most positive way. The lyrics of the song, as we all understood, are about making love, but also about how much he loves that girl, the lyrics of the song show that Jungkook is an adult and a man, and the song is for adults, but the lyrics of the song are not vulgar like many songs on this topic. And Jungkook combined the lyrics of the song with the MV, which is funny, goofy and cute, and not at all sexual or, as you understood, possessive or forceful. In the video, he showed the other side of the relationship / courtship where we see how he tries to win / seduce her, jhow he's making effort for her, how he would do everything for her no matter what situation is, how dedicated and serious he is about her, how she will always be his priority. And he did it all in a humorous, funny way. Maybe I'm wrong, but my opinion is that Jungkook wanted to show with this lyrics of the song that he is a grown man and not an innocent baby who is afraid of girls as some fans like to say he is, but with the MV he wanted to show that he is still the same playful and funny as we all know him.

I also think the song was originally the explicit version (which imo lyrically flows better than the clean ver.) judging from the rest of the lyrics that were kept (e.g. sexual innuendos such as "afterglow", "you wrap around me", as well as Latto's whole verse) but was made a cleaner version so it can cater to a wider audience. So it could also explain why the MV and the song lyrics don't match too well.

But no matter what version was published as official MV thematically is different because song is sexual / romantic and MV is goofy/funny which I really like. To be honest I don't think I would like if his MV is sexual like most american's MVs are with same theme lyrically. And even if Jungkook wanted to show adult himself I don't think he would ever make vulgar MV or song.

Well you did ask for the grown folks, and I am quite grown at 56. 😂7 days a week is not a lot for some of us. Once a day, everyday for a week ,is not a lot when you are young. My husband and I went at it when I was JK's age. I had my oldest child when I was 25, she is now 31 with her own child. We have three kids total now 31, 26, 25, and one grandchild. Seven days a week may be three days too much, too many now, but it wasn't at 25. love this song - both versions - and fully support JK's "I am a grown ass man" "Break me out the plastic "era". When he says, 'maybe I met u in another life'.......that could mean she's much older than him. When he shows the older woman and says, 'he will follow her lines',......maybe he's letting her know that he respects the difference of age. I'm seeing this in a lot of comments, but I interpreted the MV differently. To me it's in her head/from her perspective. They are already a couple, but she's going through a rough time (hence all the destruction and chaos around her, first line is "weight of the world on your shoulders") JK is there to let her know he's there for her, but she's not ready to let him in until the end. So in her mind she wants to be alone, but he keeps popping up everywhere (in her mind) until she's ready to let him in towards the end when she offers her hand and he takes it. The scenarios all seem too outlandish and ridiculous to be reality imo.

When I heard the explicit version my reaction was the same as the first time I saw Jimin dance to filter in the red suit! 😮 I listened to the song before seeing the video and I didn’t interpret it the same way whoever directed the video did.
