Picture this: it's late fall of 2019. I was a brand new baby ARMY spending my day off from work at my BFF's house (who at this point has been ARMY for a couple of months herself) and she is showing me all the good stuff: MVs, dance practices, funny Run BTS clips, funny ARMY edits and compilation videos, and I was casually enjoying myself. And, then, half way through lunch on her couch, she puts on the 2017 MAMA performance of "Mic Drop", a song which I was familiar with and had enjoyed listening to... but seeing this epic performance of it... I was blow away. This was the performance that cemented me in this ARMY sh*t for life! I was so hyped from that performance omg! It was amazing! So, yeah, I totally understand what you meant by Jungkook could fly seven days a week bc he gave me the wings to fly after that insanely amazing performance! They were all so electrifying on stage that night and I am so glad I was able to see your reaction even to the dance practice of that performance! Thank you so much for sharing this! 💜

Hi, I am back. Good reaction. ty. Pls Pat all their MVs need to be in the billions. They deserve it. Each one is a banger. I think the practice is original Mic Drop not the remix version. The remix has more Eng and Steve changed the sound more EDM. Mic Drop: It's a slap in the face for their haters by saying they're at a point where it doesn't matter what you say because your words don't matter anymore. It's also a flex song by pointing out how many trophies they have because at this point they'd need a U-Haul to get them all. Just for an example, in Korea there are weekly music shows by various stations and the winner gets a trophy. Dynamite has 36 (I think) award show wins and that's without any promotion on their end. Fun fact: Mic Drop was inspired by President Obama's mic drop when he left office. =0] I know about the dance break they added. Glad u saw the practice video for that. And they have performed this song with the new choreo for a while now. I saw another live with it. It is a perfect addition to the original choreo though they just made it harder as usual. =0p So glad u loved this song like I do. Hugs. The remix version and the normal version of this song, both are so good. Nice reaction. What I love about the MV though, everybody looks badass and gangster and like they mean business and then there is Jin. Looking like an innocent, who stumpled upon a group of gangsters and was somehow included in their music video. It's so adorable. I love our boys so much, it's not even real.
