This really saved my bacon, I was gonna record the premiere but the network I was watching pre-empted the episode for a rerun from after the ToC earlier on in the year. I had to scramble really quickly to try to find one with the premiere, and of course I missed the opening titles. You can’t watch them all, but you know, premiere and such.

As of 2019 in my town it’s 2:00: Dr. Phil. 3:00: Jeopardy reruns. 3:30: Jeopardy - new episodes. 4:00: Local News (the 1/2 hour at 4:30 that used to be Jeopardy is now more news). 5:30: Evening News. 6:00: Local News. 6:30: Wheel of Fortune. This Change was made after Millionaire ended - it changed channels in 2009. Jeopardy has been on its current channel since 2008 (Wheel too).

I was looking up Art Fleming cause of death and he too died of pancreatic cancer. I first watched him on Jeopardy! when I was a child. I always wanted to be a contestant but life's problems got in the way. I am 65 years old now and have the time but, wonder if my reaction time on the buzzer would be slow. Matt Amodio is very good and quick; all my best to him and to you.

On the Jeopardy subreddit, a couple of contestants that were there on Mike's one tape day said that he did have a longer intro speech that likely included a dedication from him. They edited that out due to...recent events. Mike did a great job in his introduction, but within a week, he was back to being the exec producer.

They did change the title card the only thing that stayed was the Globe it no longer opens up to release the pictures Jeopardy doesn't swarm around in a marquee now the pictures spin around the globe followed by the Jeopardy logo also the pink shooting across the sky is gone and replaced by stars and the top of the Jeopardy logo does not have shadow. Was not thrown off by the theme song change I saw it coming it was way overdue they hadn't changed it since 2008
