@@sntslilhlpr6601 You're right- President Carter ('77-'81) had 32 solar panels installed in the West wing roof to heat the water. President Reagan ('81-'88) had them removed in 1986. Companies used to use iron brackets on solar panels which rusted on The West wing roof so they had to be taken down unfortunately they would never put back up because President Reagan's had been shot and it was not utmost on his calendar All things considered. The wonderful thing about American history is either you have to read the entire story or instead you can talk to someone who lived through that political period & was active in politics {such as myself}.

He owns the land, but gave its use to SolAmerica Energy, the company that owns the panels. This is actually a big problem for solar power- finding land for the panels. He did a good thing, they did a good thing, people get power, people make money, yay. Good things are rarely the result of a sole individual.

My answer: What is absolutely nothing? The bad has OUTWEIGHED the good in 2020 and it isn't even close. There have been few winners and even they have been affected. Even if you take away the main events from this year, everyone has been going through something this year. This will remembered as the year of chaos and death.
