This episode broke me when it aired! Sam holding Dean back from going after Cas and it's a direct parallel to the pilot where Dean had to hold back Sam from going after Jess.

For an inconsistent season, this was imo a really great finale. So much happens and a lot of loss and questions. I do agree though- didn't make any sense that the rift didn't close almost immediately when Crowley sacrificed himself. I imagine Cas went in to see why the boys were not coming back, but why not just grab them and come back through the rift? I think tbey just had the idea of where they wanted it to end - Cas and Crowley dead and Lucifer and Mary trapped in apocalypse world so they just kind of awkwardly finagled a way to get there. Still, a banging high stakes finale.

With the introduction of the Apocalypse World, the show canonically absolves Mary Winchester's guilt about the deal that she made with Azazel as NOT a mistake, since we now can see that even without Sam and Dean being born, the angels and demons war still happened and thus wrecked that universe. So Mary's deal with Azazel saved this show's universe of another version of the apocalypse from happening, with Sam and Dean preventing it in S5.

This may have set the record for most main characters killed in one episode. Rowena, Crowley, and Castiel. Dean's bestie and both McClouds.. I so want to bitch slap the writers for that. I am still upset about Bobby, Charlie and Sarah but at least they didn't go in one episode.

Finally done with season 12. Loved Crowley, Lucifer, and The nephilim storyline but couldn’t care less about much else about it… I did enjoy Crowley’s final monologue but him dying suckeddd. And although there are still a couple storylines next season I’m not super fond of, I really like season 13 and rate it in the top half of all seasons for sure.

Maaaan just shy of 300 is on the cheap side, here it's 3-500 for blue label JW. I like the JW platinum label which goes for 150-250. Has a very fruity aroma to it.

I really loathe this episode. The writing decisions baffle me. You have a lackluster season, but at least it was building up to something monumental, right? Except they take all the air out of the birth of the Nephilim, and the danger of Lucifer getting to the child, by going on a casual stroll through the portal, so Cas could show them what he had already discovered. I thought it was to allow a beautiful, intimate moment between Mary and Kelly alone, but nope. Nothing really between the woman about to die giving birth to a Nephilim, and the woman who never got to see her Apocalypse-stopping hero sons grow up; something something about being absent mothers to greatness, and the pain of never getting to know your children, which is what Mary has been dealing with. Then they kill off Crowley and Cas, two fan favourite characters, but neither death is really given time to breathe, because they happen one after the other, and then Mary has to awkwardly beat up Lucifer (who fails to be intimidating as usual), and fall through the portal. None of those moments land for me, because it doesn't feel like the writers even care that much. What a waste of killing of fan favourites! What a waste of buildup for the Nephilim being born. And they did this last final too, with introducing the British Men of Letters, while the world is ending. Stop making me try to care about next season, if you can't seem to truly care about your current season finale! Damnit show 😂

difficult season for me to stay hyped for. Thankfully I was invested enough in multiple characters that they entertained me to pull me along. I did not like the end even tho it should have been 'explosive' for me, it wasn't.

Welp some people might disagree but here’s where the show dies for me. Season 11 was really good, Season 12 had a few episodes and moments I really like, but Seasons 13, 14, and 15 are god awful in terms of writing and production. The same actors from the show now become the showrunners and it all feels cheap and without passion, with even some retcons from the Kripke era’s best moments. God I hate what they did to my favorite show The difference in quality from 1-5 is the most noticeable now

I actually loved seasons 13 & 14. The writing is definitely inconsistent but overall season 13 is one of my favorites. The production quality definitely got a lot worse but that happened to like every cw show in existence. I loathe season 15 though, that's definitely one of my least favorite seasons, tied with season 6.
