cus of my spinal cord injury.. i have to sleep pretty much exactly how they showed Dean Laying.. except i cant use a pillow. its the worst. especially since theres too much pain to get actual sleep. so sometimes i just stay up for a few days so that i can actually pass out for like 8 hours.. and its worth every moment.

You are now the third man in my life (husband & brother) that really thought today *Saturday* was New Years Eve already. :) I think we all are anxious for this year to be over. Bonus for this episode is to have Dee Wallace (Mildred) guest star, she is aces! I loved how she and Dean connected,lol.

This is my favorite episode of the series. There's so much subtlety here.. Casifer makes me smile The opening song is so retro I love that the boys get a case where they can run home for a weapon. I love Mildred Baker-- Dee Wallace, 80's scream queen and the mom on ET..ok, you looked her up..cool -- so much so that I built a PG fan fic outline making her the boys' grandmother..Millie Winchester. She was recently on 'inside of you'. Michael Rosnbaum's podcast Harold and the poop emogee.. The banshee is fun sfx.,,lights in the mouth Sam Finally calls the bunker 'home' and Dean chooses to not razz him about it. Almost like he's an adult. I love how much better Dean deals with a senior's flirtation than Sam with Gert back in S03 Hello Eileen. Another subtle moment when Casifer takes Dean by the shoulder.. it's the wrong shoulder for him.. compare to that hand print when he got pulled out of hell. Dean sort of notices.. we can see that he's little weirded out but not enough to call it out. The talk while on the couch..sunset..brilliant. and the most heart warming thing.. at the beginning of this episode, Sam makes that off comment "if we live that long" and at the end.. he's turned around so far, he saves the brochure from the retirement home, in his memory box.. And the song at the end.. the tone is perfect.

I really love Eileen! And Mildred is iconic 😂❤ Lovely episode, where I actually really care about the outcome of a "monster of the week"-episode. I have mixed feelings about "Casifer"; I despise what became of Lucifer's character, and find him incredibly annoying and boring, but at least for me personally I find Misha charming enough to pull off some of it. And watching an actor play another actor's portrayal of a character, AND playing a character acting like their character, was interesting at least.

FUCK CANCER. no socks man. loved the story you told with the older lady call, so great that you took that moment because it probably made her whole week. great review. this is one of those eps that i just liked. not loved like the last two but every time i watch i come away smiling (even though the cgi on the banshee was not so good). Mildred was just wonderful and her flirting with Dean was adorable plus i enjoyed Eileen as well.

Casifer is a bit of a cartoon, but for some reason I actually like that version. Less overtly menacing than regular Luci but so, so b*tchy.

Dude you completely skipped the apology at the end. It was a heartfelt moment when Sam gave an honest apology and Dean said he didn't have to because he already forgave him. I personally Sam owed Dean more of an apology over How he treated Benny, but purgatory is fine.
