Before a game like this I go back and forth between being confident we'll dominate, to being sure we'll get blown out. The football gods have been Lucy with the football to Vikings fans for so long. I'm an old timer. I've lived through every NFCCG heartbreak. Darrin Nelson dropping the TD in the endzone at Washington, wide left, 42-donut, the St. Louis massacre, Favre across his body, the Philadelphia massacre. I'm a survivor of all of them. It's hard to really feel confident but this does seem like a different kind of feel to it. It reminds me most 0f '98, but the defense was always a little bit shaky on that team. Fuck it, SKOL. She's not going to pull the ball away this time.

The defense on the 98 team wasn't that shaky. I think the most points they allowed all season was 24, which is amazing considering how much they were blowing out opponents by. John Randle getting hobbled in the Cardinals playoffs game was the main reason we didnt get to the SB. That was our year. I was so certain ww would win the SB because we were easily the best team in the NFL. This year we have a better chance than usual. It has more of an 09 or 2017 feel to it. I'm hopeful but not confident. If teams don't figure out the Brian Flores defense, and Sam can play just as well under pressure in the playoffs, we have a shot. But the margin for error is non-existant. Two Adrienne Peterson fumbles kept us out in 09. We can't turn it over at all and expect to win in the playoffs.

Before Darrisaw blew the knee, I was thinking maybe ten wins. Afterwards, I was down to maybe eight wins. I couldn't believe how fast Kwesi got Cam Robinson. Surely there must be some serious problem...but no. Robinson has played better than expected. Not Darrisaw great, but very solid. What I didn't expect was the massive improvement in Darnold's play during the season. Virtually eliminated his reckless throws. Willing to accept a sack rather than doing something foolish. He has learned most of the good habits of winning quarterbacks.

This is a really good show! Coller is a pro’s pro! I’ve always wanted to ask him what it’s like going from Buffalo to Minnesota. That is 8 SB L’s for a guy to absorb and be apart of for a living. lol I want the Vikings to win it All for the fans whom suffered for decades. But I also want the win for Coller! Sirles, all I can say is how doesn’t this guy have his own show? I know he’s busy with his agent work/business, but his NFL insight and overall cool personality is a KZbin draw. Being a Gophers fan, I’ve even watched his Nebraska coverage just to hear what the guy has to say. And he keeps the language G-rated so I can watch/play it around my kid. lol Boone… not so much. I think its blue=low (cold) red=high (hot). red=high confidence in a win.....which is a little backwards for me. I'm a structural analyst, so when doing load analysis, in stress plots, red=high stress (bad), blue=low stress (safe).

If you IR him, he has to miss 4 weeks. Or, you keep him on the roster, inactivate him on game days until healthy, and then waive another roster player and hope you can get him back on the practice squad. I doubt they want to waive a player on the active roster. Also, there's no way they would expose Reichard to waivers.

I think he re-aggravated his right quad and is probably terrified to tell the team he's hurt (again.)
