I bought a pair of beige/brown Tony Lama 6214 wingtips back in 1985 and haven’t worn them in years. After seeing your video, I’m going to get them refurbished! Great video. Mike C

I wore a pair of those throughout the ‘90s and danced all over the country in them. My feet were even included in the opening credits of the dancing program filmed at the Wildhorse saloon. Apparently my feet grew in size over the years and I sold them on eBay to someone in Texas several years ago. I loved those boots.

I'm was the winner of thr women's Twisted X boots. You might remember me showing you pictures of my Tony Lama boot with a cream colored foot with a burnt orange lizard wingtip and burnt orange shaft. I wanted them because they were the exact same model number as the ones worn by John Travolta in Urban Cowboy. I also noticed that ever since Tony Lama boot company was taken over by the Justin boot company almost all of their classic designs and classic stitching went away. In my opinion a lot of the classic boots were designed way better than what is being put out today.

I have 3 pair of vintage wingtips from Laredo bone with a tan wingtip,grey marbled with a black wingtip and butterscotch with a dark brown wingtip. They get more compliments than all my high-end boots. They project that James Dean bad boy vibe and swagger that sets you apart from the crowd!

Your boots look so amazing. Here in Ontario Canada, I found a pair of USA made Justin 1207 boots that look exactly like yours with the identical rundown as yours. But their wingtips and leather braiding is done even nicer than yours.....mocha tips and shaft color and a beige vamp color. Still original soul and rubber heel cap too. Found them in a cowboy consignment and repair shop for $50. Perfect fit but trying to reshape inside leather footbed to remold to my feet. Totally love these vintage boots !!

I think I have 4 pairs of wingtips, including the Lamas you have. When I buy used boots, I usually leave them as they are, since I like the "well worn" look that takes so long to make on new boots!

I had a pair of those back in the day. Great boot. I now have a pair the creme colored wingtip boots like John Trevolta wore in Urban Cowboy. Don't know if they even make them anymore. Yes, the wingtips look great on this style of boot.

I just picked up a pair of Tony Lama black label Ostrich grey (05005) wing tips , the wing tips look great , agree they need to come back in . Pick mine up if eBay for $74 US , there being posted to Australia , can’t wait to get them .
