Acre of Land is a great song. Your vocals match the edgy progression of the chords and make this one that is great to hear on a drive, by a fire, or just winding down one evening after a long day. Isn't it interesting how we all desire the simplicity of nature and the comfort from success such that we get caught up in the grind of it all, stressed, worn down, and just pushing forward. And yet, that simplicity is all around us and right there to enjoy all of the time. Jeremie, you are already a big success, but I hope tomorrow puts you in the spotlight you are looking for and you find that few acres of land you have set in your mind. I will be adding this to my regular playlist, and I hope to one day cross paths to witness your vocals and guitar riffs live. I can't choose a favorite among three versions I've heard of this song, just as it's tough to pick a favorite among his entire catalog thus far! Solo acoustic, electric, or full band, all of the performances captivate me. Acre of Land is the first of Jeremie's songs I heard (thanks to Paste Beach Road Weekend) and I've been hooked ever since.
