Satan was thrown out because he thought himself higher than God, and on that point you would be correct. But pride in the sense of being proud of someone else, or having pride in your work, is different, to a point. You can still be too prideful with those examples. Do you not think God is proud of what He made in the beginning? In Eden?

I use to live my life in darkness. Heart cold, no emotions or feelings. Completely lost, with no remorse for my sins or life in itself. I literally stared death in the face multiple times but there I still stood. Heart still beating, blood still flowing through my veins. God has Never given up on me & showed me He was not giving up on me. He was able to save me. Raising me out of the pit of darkness bringing me back into the light. Ross Peterson This song reminds of times when I struggled with addiction to alcohol, drugs, and gambling. For a long time I thought I could do it alone. I would pray and pray and I truly believe God answered my prayers and placed people in my life to help and support me through those difficult times. For some reason I was having a difficult time accepting Christ into my life. I wasn’t ready to surrender to him. I wasn’t ready to give up my addictions. It wasn’t until I started going to Celebrate Recovery that I found hope and the support from others that I desperately needed. I still struggle with addiction today but I have a new found hope and outlook on life. It’s all because of him. Praise Jesus.

I grew up in church and accepted Jesus in my heart when I was 5 years old. I never really knew God, and when people said he was my father, I had a really twisted knowledge of what a dad was because of my own father not wanting me and never really being there for me. I grew up in a really abusive household full of neglect. I was diagnosed with Severe CPTSD and clinical depression at the age of 5 and been through every form of abuse by the age of 7 and had my first attempt of suicide when I was 8, no one knows how I'm still alive to this day. I hated God for everything I been through with my family and the trauma I grew up with. I fell away from Jesus when I was almost 14. My life spiraled out of control. When I was 17 I got into a relationship that I was stuck in for 4 1/2 years and went through every form of abuse in that relationship. I got involved in black magic and I became very, very dark and angry from everything I've been through. Even though I was so far away from God I knew he was real and I couldn't fully let go of him. I gave my life back to Jesus when I was 22 years old. I left my abusive ex and barely escaping with my life, to come to Jesus, that day I was prepared to die and God spared my life. For the first time in my life after giving my life back to Jesus, I finally found love. Something I've been craving my whole life. That constant empty feeling of loneliness, pain, anger, and hatred is gone. Although I still battle with Severe CPTSD because of the severity of the trauma I've been through my whole life, I find peace and strength in God to get through each day. In my teen years I felt like the abuse killed a part of me that I could never get back. I felt like I was dead inside and the abuse killed the better part of me. I never thought I would ever be happy or ever have peace in my life. I use to think happiness was just some hallmark lie people made up to sell this fairytale to people, it's just an illusion people want to believe to help them escape this evil, sick, twisted world. Wasn't until God came into my life that I actually got to experience true joy and what happiness feels like. I got to feel peace and true love. I now spend my time sharing my testimony and helping people who have survived abuse. It's crazy how much God can turn a person's world completely around from being complete darkness and pain, to pure joy and light. God revived that dead part of me I thought I lost. He showed to me there is happiness after abuse. He showed to me that there is healing and peace after trauma.

I can totally relate with your story and the joy you are talking about because God and Jesus can completely turn someone's life in less than a moment once they accept him. I hope we keep our fire for God and share it with others who think it is a total nonsense, i feel bad for them because they are not giving it a chance. And i'm talking this way and experiencing this joy while going through the hardest time in my life, so it is not like we are doing fine that is why we love God, No! It is all about building a relationship with God even during the hardest times ever. You see, my husband and I got married in May of 1984 and two weeks after our honeymoon Daniel started hitting me, threatening me, making fun of me, criticizing me, BUT in September of 2015 he was arrested for forgery and theft against me. I had been trying to be the Christian wife that Daniel demanded by twisting Bible verses to suit him, that even though I kept going to church with him and reading my Bible and praying to The Lord to make Daniel stop hating me, after Daniel was arrested, The Lord showed me that I was trying to follow and obey Daniel INSTEAD of putting The Lord FIRST. I was so ashamed BUT The Lord pulled me out of ALL the darkness & lies that Daniel laid on me. The Lord showed me that in a Christian way only that it is alright to disagree and to stand up against Daniel when necessary. I remember hearing this song for the first time. I was driving to work and pulled over on the shoulder of the highway to write down "Jeremy Camp" to look more into his music because this song choked me up. It spoke to me in a way that no other song has. I discovered my mother passed away when I was 22. She had been my best friend, my everything. She had also been a woman of God. I had been too but that changed with her death. I began to hate God and did so for 12 years. I felt like He had betrayed my mother and myself. Then one night, 12 years later, I found her Bible that had been put away and began screaming at God...reminding Him of what He had done to my mother and what He had done to me. Once I couldn't scream "I hate you" anymore...I felt Him again. That was all it took for 12 years of anger and hate to melt away was ONE SINGLE TOUCH. It has now been close to 10 years since He called me back and I have learned so much about death through His wisdom.

I've been into this song ever since I ran into it. As a current senior in high school, two I deal with a common issue that most men deal with, lust. Before I thought I couldn't be forgiven for such a thing, along with my deep regrets of hurting others in my past. But God, He showed a miracle. I witnessed a miracle from Him. My dad was sick with demons tormenting his mind. He didn't eat, he paced all around, he laid on the kitchen floor crying. Until I took the chance praying with my mom and sister, to bring our dad back. And so, He, the King of Kings, did exactly just that. I've made my early walk with Jesus very hard, but He already knew that. I failed time and time again, trying on my own, to overcome my lust. Little did know, my failures made me seek Him more. That was one of His ways of strengthening me. And He still is today. I'm no longer afraid of what this or any other device records or hears about me. Even if I delete the disgusting things I've view, I'm forgiven. Still am. No excuses made. I'm still human, I will fail more. But no matter what, IT IS FINISHED. May God be with you all. Amen.

It’s so sweet that little ACE WAS SINGING THIS SONG while visiting Mt Airy, NC and Mayberry, North Carolina He is just the most honest little boy in the whole wide world! Poor baby boy died in the hospital at Rowan Memorial Hospital. He had so many people to help him because his poor little fragile body was full of drugs many withdrawals that killed him. But the doctors brought him back to life! Thank GOD! All the DSS workers did come come to visit him to help him. He just kept asking “who is my Mother? “ He thought is was Auntie, Uncle, his two cousins, his grandmother, and his sweet sister who always told the truth. It’s really sad that every BIBLE chapter and scripture comes true. I do pray for more funeral homes to be open because of the wrath of God is here! The prices of embalming fluid has just raised to the ceiling because the demand is great & that’s why prices go up! Heathens love to brag about EVIL LIVING AT THEIR HOUSE. So sad that evil has to be destroyed! Amen and Amen. Jesus is coming back soon. He must clean off evil from this earth first!

I don't know what I did to I don't know what I did to deserve and saving me, but things just get better and better through Christ. He's recently brought a woman into my life.
