Range Rover, BMW E46 M3 CSL, Merc SLS roadster, VW golf gti, Merc 600 Grosser, etc. About 2 or 3 years ago, he even bought a McLaren 675LT, and that's a great car (one of the most beautiful McLaren ever made, in my opinion)

They were last along with the BWMs. Corvette has used the same car without any evolutions for many years in a row, because why spend money to build a good car when stupid rules will make you as fast or faster as people who actually try and develop their car

When i first saw new ford gt i think this isn't a good car. Big holes everywhere, back of the car looks like a pig, and the engine is too small. But from time to time, watching youtuber who review this car, i began to like this car! Especially when clarkson turn on the track mode which is drop the car 50mm and made the spoiler go up! That is so cool!!

That’s assuming it stays as desirable collectible . You can invest 400k in a verity of ways which will generate ROI faster . Let’s assume that the average age of a Gt buyer today is over 40 so by the time they are over 70 they double the price . Now account for inflation not to mention trying to predict what happens during those years and is more likely people who would by a Gt would do so because they want to add it to an existing collection or because they just want one . Not manny of those buyers will do so with investments in mind .

I’m sure diehard Ford GT (GT 40) fans are disappointed for not having V8s in the new model. Yes the turbocharged V6 is faster and more economical but the V8 rumble is needed for a proper Ford GT(40) experience especially since Le Mans back then.

If a V8 has a similar turbo technology as ecoboast V6, then yes it will be faster. However supercharged V8s and ultra large N/A V8s are heavier. Majority of today's turbocharged engines have enormous low end torque, similar to turbo diesels meaning you have power sooner, far sooner than the equilivent power of a N/A engines. What Ford should've done is to have a 4L Ecoboast V8 which is slightly bigger and heavier than Ecoboast V6 but @ least that should keep the V8 rumble. Take Aston Martin DB11 V12 for example the new V12 is smaller than olders ones but because it's turbocharged it produces similar power but better low end torque and yet somewhat have the V12 noise. Basically it doesn't hurt to try to keep natural engine soundtracks which certian models are famous for while trying to make engines more econmical to run. Low inertia turbochargers in new Ford GT produces fat low end torque. That's why the Ecoboast V6 Ford GT is faster than its predecessor. Having said that, they should've developed a new Ecoboast V8 so drivers can possibily have best in "both worlds".
