As Someone Coming Up On KZbin As A Movie Reviewer. I can truly, and honestly say that J J has a fire for movies that is so rare today. I remember when I starred in my first musical production, I received a feeling that I can never forget. It was a passion, a drive, an anchor for theater, for entertainment, and for story telling. When I watch these videos, I see that same energy on the screen. There is a unique, distinct flow of speech that J J has and I find that to be not only encouraging but spectacular. A good movie, I believe can do so much for the soul, for the life, for the spirit of an individual. We don't watch and review movies for entertainment, or simple growth on KZbin, but rather we watch movies because we believe in the ability a phenomenal film has to motivate, captivate and inspire. ***** Because I didn't go into them with a lot of pre-formed expectations. I was 3 when "Return of the Jedi" came out, and grew up with the OT on VHS. "The Phantom Menace" hit theaters about 3 months before my 19th birthday, and I loved it. I never understood why so many people thought Anakin would be dark and serious from the very beginning, because that notion's not supported in the OT at all. Obi-Wan tells Luke very little about him, and what we do learn there is verified in the PT...but lots of gaps are also filled in.

Well, the main complaints I've heard for the last decade have usually revolved around three issues: Anakin being nine years old in "Phantom Menace", Jar Jar existing at all, and Anakin being "too whiny" in Episode III. I agree with the last one by about 15%, but the rest just baffles me. I went into the prequels as cautiously optimistic, and for the most part, I still enjoy them all.

It was boring as f*ck dude, I'm not saying is a "terrible/dogshit" movie, but god damn, I remember the 1st time I watched it I was like: - Alright, we have our "different" protagonist who has suicidal tendencies, I can't wait until someone shoots him so all the explosions and action can take place. -20 minutes later- Uhm? hello? terrorists where are you?... alright I'm droping this shit. . The black corporal or liutenant was more interesting and seemed to had a better backstory than the idiot, but no! we need to be original so lets throw a protagonist that no one can relate to and enjoy.
