Patricia Williams I'm sure her legal name once they got married is Ashley Jordan but she made a name for herself in the Broadway world as Ashley Spencer so it's her stage name..... it very common for a woman to do that in the entertainment industry. Another example i can think of off the too of my head is ginnifer Goodwin from Once Upon A Time, her legal name is Ginnifer Dallas, since she married Josh Dallas, but she made a name for herself in acting as Goodwin so it stays as a stage name.
