Jeremy Kyle: 'I've been cancelled'

In a frank and honest interview with Mike Graham, talkRADIO's new presenter Jeremy Kyle talks openly about the death of his father and explains why his new talkRADIO show will be a rollercoaster of a ride.
Jeremy is no stranger to talkRADIO, having hosted a weekend show which started in 2018. He also worked for talkSPORT back in 2008.
Jeremy Kyle told Mike: “I lost my dad six weeks ago and he was my hero. One of the reasons that I’ve come back now is that he said to me, ‘go back to work’.
“Life is full of problems. There’s always a solution, it’s just the bigger the problem, the longer that it takes to find an answer. But if you get your head down, you’ll get there.
“That’s why I’m back. It just seems like the right time, and I’ve listened to talkRADIO and I just like the fact that there’s a huge amount of honesty and directness and it’s about people.
“talkRADIO is just the most perfect project and I’m so excited to join and be able to talk about stuff that matters to me and that’s mattered to me for a long, long time.”

And itv continue to do this with programs like, only way is Essex and love island. And they advertise themselves as the be kind channel. He was a lot more than just the 'Face' of the show, the truth is that he was one of the co-creators of the show, the way the show was run to the formats it had was partially his idea. Jeremy Kyle, Tom McLennan & his wife actually cooked up ideas between them, and came up with the final idea which THEY PITCHED to ITV and ITV pretty much accepted it there and then, that final idea became the Jeremy Kyle show. So like I said, Jeremy was more than just the face of the whole outfit, much, much more. And a lot of people don't seem to realise that.

Jeremy wasn't cancelled because of a few criticisms, it was cancelled because of the disregard for it's primary duty. The show brought on people with severe mental health, treated them like animals and then on top of that acting as if a lie detector result couldn't be wrong even went so far as to lie about its accuracy which they had told the investigation team and the public that it was 97% accurate when it was 66% accurate. The show even pushed guests to the breaking point which had led to the suicides of two individuals with the faulty tests, and plenty more considering self harm and when the families informed the producers they just didn't care not even enough to inform the local police in their areas. One poor girl was told that the aftercare team would help her through her addiction and they dropped her after a couple of months she later overdosed. The investigation team found that the staff incharge were grossly negligent beyond repair. Jeremy however didn't attend the meeting because he didn't want to get pulled up on his negligent behaviour when treating the guests like something he stepped in on the street. This is guy shouldn't be allowed to appear on anything after that nightmare.

Yup with the so called 'lie detector tests' rather they arent I don't believe even called that by the people who conduct them, they're called polygraph tests and apart from some specific things they use them for like the CIA forgot why exactly they're used for applicants into the service and are others. They aren't I don't believe admissible as evidence in any court in any state in the US, they're just kind of a way of swaying people investigating somethings opinion thats all. What I'd be interested and concerns me at least slightly is I know for a fact some polygraph tests come back inconclusive, not exactly sure what makes a test inconclusive but they do happen, I wonder by whatever method someone modified the result and said if inconclusive they lied, wouldn't surprise me in the least! One example of a way of swaying opinions was the Travis Walton alien abduction case, after Walton had gone missing all of his work colleagues cutting down tree's offered to have a polygraph done and all but one passed it (though some say it was for them to get out of a really bad contract, was allegedly found in some petrol station butt naked in whatever it was either days or weeks later).

Jeremy show was cancelled cause someone who failed one of his lie detectors test lied and decided himself to kill himself but Jeremy gets the blame fir it but also the show was cancelled cause the idiotic itv staff was wanting ti oull the plug on his show along time ago they just needed something to do it Jeremy saved lives and he tells it how it is but no one wants to give him credit for it this society have become easily offended and some don’t work or wanna work way before COVID was a thing it’s a joke itv be like let’s cancel Jeremy Kyle show cause we don’t like how he tells it how it is and saved lives whilst one person takes his own life cause he failed a lie detector test but the blame goes on his show

Love Island and Jeremy Kyle are very different types of shows. Love Island was your typical crappy reality show. The people who signed up to go on wanted to be famous. Love Island itself did not directly cause the contestants' suicides, as sad as they were; it was the effects of being famous through that show. The people going on Jeremy Kyle were desperate common folk and were in a much more vulnerable position, airing out their personal grievances and feuds while being berated. It was bear-baiting as entertainment, taking questionable lie detector tests as gospel, garnering classist attitudes among the general public.

I guess it was sort of reality tv. His show sort of taught me not to go out and cheat I’ve always witnessed how some of them act and the heart break they go through. Not saying it shaped me as a person at all, but it certainly opened my eyes as to how miserable life can be regardless of his opinions if you act in certain ways.

Wow ! I hope this isn’t the start of a slippery slope into the gutter. My current day involves me listening to the excellent shows of JHB, Mike Graham, and Rob Rinder etc so I am definitely a fan of Talk Radio. However, when you choose to replace someone with the class and intelligence of Rob Rinder with the likes of Mr Kyle something is going horribly wrong. Frankly, Mike’s interview with JK was cringe worthy and well below his normal level. It was kind of reminiscent of Oprah “interviewing” Meghan and Harry 🤮 something Mike himself criticised! Sorry, Talk Radio but this is not for me.
