Lin was in his prime on bk he got injured a lot its sad the nets would of made the playoffs those years if lin never got hurt

Lin can impact a game either off the bench or starting so Idk why not so much team chase him when he was FA. His leadership hopefully can help Trae Young specially taking good decisions and not forcing anything like matchups and shots. Last but not the least, Lin perform better too if there is a explosive/athletic big(s) around him and not complaining about pick and roll and does everything what PGs wants.
