I'm glad Paxman's continued with his serious investigative journalism. Is this the state of political reporting now in Britain, from someone who used to be considered one of the sharpest political interrogators that this country could boast? British politics is becoming more American every day, no wonder the Tories are going to win.

What was indecent about this? I’m slightly confused. Jeremy has always had a touch of humour to his serious broadcasting - he’s retired now, who cares if he’s being a bit less serious. Plus, the whole purpose of Channel 4 election coverage is to be an alternative to the BS suits and ties on the BBC at that time.
