Did Trump repeat the past tho? I say no, ie: he learnt from it! This film is great and it makes Trump human. It shows him as not a homophobe etc and that he’s layered (learnt a way of being effective while not showing what he feels… anyone can relate to the allure of that). I think these guys are telling themselves stuff, but truth speaks and Trump has done a journey, quite typical for his circumstance and zeitgeist (yuppies etc)… for example he did honour Roy despite the public at the time not understanding how aids works (changed his mind) and did go into politics (changed his mind)… he can change his mind, he’s alive!
