Sebastian Stan has to be one of the most versatile actors out there. His range is INSANE.

Why do I just not see that? He's not a bad actor, but I wouldn't say he's the most versatile
@Tara.2 ай бұрын
@@Not_Always I would say so, he lost a bunch of his Marvel muscle to play Tommy Lee. He just played a handsome cannibal to a disfigured man and now gained weight to play Trump. He also played Jeff in I’Tonya with Margot Robbie. Every role he has is just so different than the last- not just appearance wise but accents too.
@Not_Always2 ай бұрын
@Tara. changing appearances doesn't equate to being a versatile actor. If you have seen most of his roles, he doesn't go too far from that, range-wise. He might not claim to be, but he very much subscribes to method acting, instead of just acting in many roles. Sorry, but every role he plays he never loses himself enough for me to forget who I am watching.

Some of the research on this film was quite shoddy. For instance, Abraham Beane was an old crony of Fred Trump's from the early 1940s where they worked together in the old Madison Democratic club. During the war they took many trips together down to Virginia where Fred Trump made a fortune building housing for the naval construction workers. The idea that Trump needed Roy Cohn's services to get Beane on his side (as the movie showed) is simply ridiculous. The movie also overstates to an absurd degree Cohn's influence on Trump. The biggest influence on Trump was his father who had the same tactic of deny, deny, deny and if you lie enough eventually whatever you say will become the truth. The film's portrayal of Fred Trump as someone who constantly tried to belittle Donald couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact, he always praised Donald to the skies and overlooked his faults. Unlike most successful businessmen he was happy to let Donald take all the credit for things that he couldn't have accomplished without Fred. I just wonder if they got two such basic things wrong what else they are misportraying.
