Please make more of these talks 🤯 Can you talk more about what it's like to hire your first employee next time 🙏🏻
@jeremydeihl3 күн бұрын
I will put it on the list for sure, but I also did a video about a year ago talking about hiring a creator vs an admin first that might also be useful for you

I love the way your video looks; the white balance is perfect. Perfect white wall, man, I need to learn

I have a few videos going over how I color grade my footage in Davinci, but I'm currently working on a more in depth one since they have released some new color tools I use in my new workflow

This is a great video. I had the same video issue zero videos Nov dec and was worried glad to see its industry wide.

Thanks Jean Sebastien! It's very easy to talk about the wins and gains, harder to talk about the downs and self doubts that we all share. Luckily here I got to talk a little about both.

Great video. Would love to see you share a video on your mobile lighting kit.

Thanks Mike! I am in the process of putting that together now. Well it's basically going to be a video about my mobile interview and property shots all in the same video 😁

How did you find video editors that are capable of editing the way you prefer, for example at 4:52 or 6:35 The effects look great. Do they charge you a flat fee for each video? If so, how much? If you don't mind me asking
@jeremydeihl2 сағат бұрын
Honestly it's a difficult process. I was joking when I said I have been through so many editors looking for just the ones who work well with the way I shoot, what I want delivered, and reliability of delivery. I still do my own color grading because I'm too obsessive about that part, and if an agent wants an end screen I do that seperate and charge for that as well. But for all the layout work I send all my videos to the editing team behind wegoteditors.com . I still don't think they have officially launched it through the website and they are beta testing the team I work with, but all the videos here were edited by me or them, if it's a fancy/cool effect it was probably them 😂 Typically I pay per minute of delivered footage and that starts at $40 for a 1 minute film and jumps by $15 every other minute I think. I honestly don't see much of the per price items anymore because my admin does all that now and all I typically see are the weekly totals

I seem to remember you saying that you were in North Carolina. What city? I'm in Charlotte, and am looking for someone to collaborate with.

I am based in the Raleigh Triangle Park area, but I come to Charlotte every other month or so because my business partner and roaster for the coffee company are both over there.

I wish you did this without the video in the background. I find it very distracting, Im not listing or paying attention to you because Im watching the listing video
@jeremydeihl2 күн бұрын
I'll take that as a compliment to the listing videos 😁
