The X-Wing is meant to represent the original Lego X-Wing set, the one that was miscoloured in grey and light tan. The whole Star Wars Advent Calendar is ordered so that things appear in order of the release of the thing the gift is based off of.

The X-Wing puts Star Wars in 1st place for me. As a fan of LEGO for the building, I find the mini-figs boring and much prefer the ships etc that involve actual construction

It's officially Christmas again! I'll comment my own rankings this year just to add to the internet comments nobody cares about! 6 points - City. Very nice figure, plenty of play value with the snowboard and helmet. 5 points - Harry Potter. Great exclusive torso and printed tile. 4 points - Friends. Controversial, I know, but there's lots included here that could have easily been split into two days. 3 points - Disney. Nice figure, I don't hate the micro dolls as much, but the present is extremely generic. 2 points - Marvel. To have a cheap generic minifigure as your highlight bodes REALLY badly for this calendar! Leg printing would have helped massively. 1 point - Star Wars. Generic ship, a comment I have a nasty feeling I'll be writing a lot for this calendar. Really needs some fresh ideas. Festive bonus point - City. Scores - City 7, Harry Potter 5, Friends 4, Disney 3, Marvel 2, Star Wars 1
