Fake Barbie did surprise me! Actual fabric clothing, and the accessories weren't bad either. As others have stated, you can probably just take Fake Barbie's head off with no issues to get the halter pieces for the dresses on. Real Barbie feels like a clear the stock room with Dreamtopia and mermaid movie pieces. ❤

Fake Barbie heads are often removable if you just pull them. They also go right back on since they don’t have the same neck joint as a real Barbie. The fake one wins for me, she came with lots of fun outfits. If you had a kid maybe get the fake calendar and a real Barbie to go with it. The whole cost would be less than the official one anyway.

In the 80s Barbie came with a lot of stuff you were supposed to put over her head and the way you did it was you removed her head and put it around her neck. Back then the doll heads came off easily. I'm assuming the Barbie knock-off doll probably has a head that comes off easy and that's how you're supposed to put the clothing on

I could be wrong, but I think with a lot of the cheap dolls you can just pop the head right off and put it back on, the neck peg is usually just a ball, not that pronged thing that barbies have. So maybe that's what they were thinking with the dresses that have the small neck openings?? I think with the necklace though, it just didn't get cut where it was supposed to. (I've gotten ones like that before, you can just cut it yourself with scissors) Let's face it, the only people that would be truly happy with either of these sets are small children, I don't think they care about fabric quality, so definitely fake barbie ftw! 😆 Thanks for another fun video :)

Honestly, when it comes to a knock off dolls many I’ve seen in the US have not only better clothing than Barbie but better aesthetics and paint. It’s honestly crazy. Even the sets they come with are better. There’s one of them that I saw in my area that came with a full bedroom set. That’s a full bed, has full of Victorian vibes in a pastel pink. It was beautiful. If I had the room, I would buy it. I typically buy them just for the clothing and pieces they come with alone. And even some of them are very cheap in price and have full made to move art articulation on the bellybutton body. It’s pretty crazy. I once found a dollar tree Barbie fake that had a bellybutton body with made to move knees.

So i bought a different fake barbie advent calendar last year, day 1 was a headless naked doll so i panicked and opened everything at once, the dolls head was somewhere in the middle of the calendar i was laughing my head off afterwards. Definitely an experience i wont forget anytime soon lol.
