So glad David Dastmalchian is getting a lead role
@Jonathan_Collins
Michael Ironsides narration was the cherry on top, for the budget they had, they will reap the rewards for years to come. I can see this becoming an annual Halloween tradition.
@Jonathan_Collins
I actually think the theater experience was amazing because it made me feel like I was in the audience watching it all live. If you want to feel like you're in the audience watch it in theaters. If you want to experience as someone who was watching the show at home then watch it at home.
@edupbeat
Rob Zombie has been TRYING to do a movie like this for 20 years now…
@Rembreiker_lychec9257
Just got back from watching the movie w my friends. They all thought it was gonna be meh and we all ended up walking out at the end freaking out.
@squatch1565
This film felt like it was an hour longer than it actually was, and I mean that as the highest compliment. The feeling of tension and dread of what was coming was so intense
@iliasVoolgaris
"Worth buying on VHS" would be the perfect rating, higher than Awesometacular
@Outpost31Research
This is the best time for horror fans. We are seeing more and more original scripts/ideas. The 2000s and part of the 1990s were extremely rough.
@askingshoe2
David Dastmalchian did an interview with Last Podcast on The Left about this movie along with talking about his acting career a week or two ago. He sounded like he genuinely loved making that movie when he spoke about it
@johnny-lx4bv
“How are you gonna be a low budget indie film and not fight for the little guy?” Holy shit
@hachehache
That poster is AWESOME! Love how clear they have the 70's asthetic in everything!!!
@frankrobinson7290
I agree with you wholeheartedly. What a film. No jump scares but messes with your mind
@stillhammered3060
Got to see this in the theater when it premiered with a sold out showing. The crowd got so into this it was like we were part of the studio audience. People in the theater were reacting just like the people in the movie 😂. When it was over people were clapping and cheering. Great movie.
@bryanconnors333
Good flick. Had the chills. Dastmalchian was great!
@trinaq
I'm a huge fan of David Dastmalchian, and I always look forward to seeing his projects. I love that it's deliberately filmed to resemble a real 70's broadcast.
@bobnapier7407
Slight spoiler but the ending where the aspect ratio and camera quality changes is legit an insane goosebump moment for me
@whatsthestoryhere
I'm usually not into horror but this done it for me. Absolute immersion. So good
@TheRibottoStudios
I'm stoked to see this. Glad to see horror is still on a steady incline since the 2010s. Bumps along the way for sure though.
@Crow0fEarth
Man the way this movie was filmed like it’s was from the 70s was impressive from a creative decision standpoint. Takes balls and man it paid off big time.
