The reason why refunds are normally nor allowed is because StockX is the middleman. You can buy or sell so if you are selling and then the buyer cancels, you will not be abl to sell as the person who paid filed a chargeback dispute. I am sure that the cs team can make an exceptiom but many people want to keep cancelling. Chargeback and disputes will lead to an account suspension and while most people wont care then let that be it but there is lógic behind all guidelines. The video will help in a bad case where the refund was not honored but is not ideal to get an account suspended as some people buy and resll o just sell for a living. Cool video anyway

I bought a used pair of the "Gucci" Jordan 1s to try out goat and they verified shoes with laces that were broken and tied back together (can't buy anything close to the original laces). But the shoes are "used" so they just issued a tiny credit. But why would I use credit on another pair of shoes if they can't see something as easy as broken laces. I already knew about charge backs but they just lost out on me buying anything else. It's such a dumb way to introduce yourself to a customer. I sell old film cameras and when I sold one that was defective I grabbed the same camera model from my collection, tested it personally, and swapped it out with the broken one and threw in some free film.

So annoyed, bought the bodega crocs off of stockx and I received them today. Everything looked fine until I noticed they’re fakes both pouches on the crocs are facing the same way. I bought new rookie of the year for $520 and later goat told me they were used and offered me $52 off. The description of the used shoe was only “used shoe” but no problems were fully addressed. There are a few more problems with the shoe, the stats on the flaps are a lil faded, some dirt on the midsole, the insoles where it says “nike air” are half missing. Do you think i can get a refund, i paid with amex. Any other tips you can give me if you think i can get my money back. Does this mess up my credit? (I have my own credit card under my dads credit)

varickooo GOAT should just do the right thing and refund you however if you file claim with your credit card they will help and it shouldn't hurt your credit as long as you don't don't do chargebacks often. Thats also a question you can verify with your credit card company as well because each credit card company has different rules about that as well

I can return it but I will be taking an $80 loss, so not an option. this will be my first chargeback with this credit card, I paid with the American express blue cash card. What should I tell amex? that all these extra issues were not shown in the pictures they sent and I'm and not happy with the purchase?

varickooo I mean why did you take the deal with GOAT ? If you wasn’t happy with all the issues ? That’s going to be GOAT’s rebuttal... so I’m not sure what to tell you. You can reach out to your card company customer service but they are going to ask why ..but they will let you know your options.
