Robert Carlyle said in an interview he plays like 6 versions of rumple and a couple versions of gold. rumple before he was drafted, rumple after being injured, rumple after Milah left, rumple shortly after becoming the dark one, rumple after losing his son, rumple several hundred years into the dark curse. Gold is cursed and then not cursed. And then there is a cursed and uncursed version of weaver. and he plays different versions differently with unique voices and gestures and expressions.
