Casio offers a great line of products! If you want a piano with hundrens of sounds, synths, layers, and programmability, then you can't go wrong with the PX-5S or PX-560. However, if the acoustic and electric pianos is all you need, this is half the price!

I am glad, that you have shown that there is audio feedback prior to doing a specific function. Me being blind myself, I can tell by the beeps, what you are doing prior to you explaining what parameter you are changing in the digital piano. I love that feature. I might consider this for my friend. Just one question, I saw a few videos demonstrating this digital piano, by craft music, And I was wondering, because, they were saying that the keyboard has touch sensors. does this thing have physical buttons, or is it touch censored. That is the only question I have. Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work with your videos.😂

@HubertEtAlice6 жыл бұрын
HimJeremy, very nice review. The CDP S100/150 has only 10 tones but these are bread and butter sounds of very high quality. I like the little melodies that you are playing to demonstrate the various sounds. It is a bit disappointing that Casio has not included a clarinet and a vibraphone, which are used a lot for jazz and pop music. It would also have been nice to have a bass sound and to be able to split the keyboard in two parts, e.g. bass in the left hand and bright piano in the right. I have a question: is it possible to adjust the volume of the layered voices? When you play the mellow piano layered with the strings, the piano is almost drowned by the strings, it would be cool to be able to adjust the relative volumes of both voices. Are you going to make more demonstrations of the CSP S350? I’d be curious to hear some more rhythms with OTS. Did Casio add new piano-tailored rhythms on the CDP S350, or were all the rhythms already present on the CT-X lineup of keyboards? Have a nice Sunday 😎
@JeremySee6 жыл бұрын
You are right Vinciane. I miss having a vibraphone and a bass split on this piano. That is available on the S350. The layer volumes cannot be adjusted. Quite unfortunate. Yes, I will be making more S350 videos. I do like the S350. Especially after Yamaha's ridiculous E360!

Hi, thanks for the review. How do you see this CDP-S100/150 positioned against the new Casio PX-S1000? It seems quite close, both are entry-level piano's with latest hammer action keybed. So, how does Casio position these 2 keyboard types, what market segment is for the CDP-S100 and what market segment for the PX-S1000? Last question, how did you like the keyboard action of the CDP-S100 and how do you compare this with other keyboards, better or worse, or what is comparable? thanks for an answer

However, the price, Rs 34000 or $449, is too steep for me as a beginner and as I don't intend to turn this into my profession. What other alternatives do you recommend? I have checked your several piano recommendations videos under $199, 2019 edition, 2020 edition. But nothing seems to click. I am interested in learning/playing classical music mostly, what do you recommend based on my requirements? Note: I will buy Casio CDP S100, only when I have no alternate choices, say under $250. Greets Jeremy, I have my sights set on a CDP-S100, but! I was encouraged to check out the FP-10 by Roland, which looks and sounds fantastic, but! On a popular e-commerce site named after the rain forests, a few individuals have had some concerns about some noise coming from the keyboard after regular use. Have you looked into Roland's FP-X series for reviewing? I think we will stick with the safer choice, but I think the FP-10 holds some real promise if they can eliminate the issue I mentioned! Thank you for your great videos!
