You have something that farts every 9.2 seconds, or so, in your audio path. And when it happens, sometimes it seems to make that moment of audio repeat (like there's a delay fx pedal right when the fart happens, and only then). If you really listen, it's obvious. You got the weirdest audio quality of any YT piano teacher, I swear. But the lessons are unique and creative, including the "read between the lines" stuff - other commenter mentioned the inner note movement, and I took note of that... and there were lessons about voice leading, and where to cluster notes together, and which to double. One thing to note - I found this aspect (following inner voices) easier to follow on the real piano with your real hands, as opposed to the blue note representations. However, the blue notes are more handy for quickly seeing what chord you're playing, so both views are important. Thanks for making the videos. I'll still watch the ones that fart every 9.2s, so this isnt a criticism to worry about. If you can find the source of the farts, that's great, but it's not the end of the world.

Have you ever considered broadening your range of verbal expression through the use of synonyms ?

I really cannot believe this! The Nearness of You has been the ballad I've been working on this month; and now this came up. Between your OpenStudio lessons and KZbin videos I feel blessed with your wisdom. Thank you!

The chorus when you played the melody in your right thumb was so touching. Man! Off to the shed. I sent this over to the few students I have that can dig this..

Amazing playing, Jeremy. Going to try to incorporate this in my playing… My favorite is the tenor voice/cello. Choral!

Thumb and pinky? Open Studio? Let me go play the lottery! And like tolgayildiz1388, "The Nearness of You" is on my list but not this month, this month is "Embraceable You." Thank you.

The first video I've seen from you and I've subscribed. You're almost playing a fugue here, with these ideas, and I'm fascinated as to how Jazz harmony relates to the choral idea of SATB. So you think of each voice as possibly more than one note? Is that how you achieve more Jazz colour?
