Miss Sally, I commend you for rolling with the punches. My mom started charging me rent the day we turned 18 my sister also. Fact is she didn’t need it financially but was insistent it would teach us responsibility. I remember when I needed xtra funds in nursing school the last few quarters. My father had passed and she was left quite well. I called to ask for a loan a very small one to get me by. She calmly said sorry I wish I could but it’s not a good time. I decided then I would never ask for help. I also decided I’d never be like that with my children. You are to be commended for the mom you have been and continue to be. I respect you and your generosity. Sally seems as sharp as a tack and I’m so happy she’s doing great. I think a new location sounds super exciting. Happy Anniversary to y’all.

Bottom line for all of the negative comments is Jim is Sally’s child period! I don’t know how your families are but we take care of our family when needed. I would do everything I possibly can for my son and that’s just being a good and loving parent and family.

Jim. All these negative comments about you getting a job. They have no idea how much pain your in. My husbands back is deteriorating. He has some kind of arthritis. He applied for disability but he was denied. I'm sure your L5 is much weaker than his. I'm going to pray for you Pray for what you deserve. Seriously. You've worked a lot in your adult life. Like jeri said you've paid into the system. Why not reap what you've sow. Is jeri going to sell her dollar tree collection. If so I'll be there. I'll buy it all. Some of it is vintage. Antique like. You can sell it for more than a $1.

@@bonnielawson7455 thank you. We r hanging in there. Believe me. I'm a patient woman. My husband doesn't want to be a Jim Henson. He'd rather starve to death than turn into jim. I will not. I have a garden. My tomatoes are doing ok. Found out I have squash bugs. I found eco friendly solutions to fix tge problem. Please don't think I'm a Henson. They are not spells. They are solutions that have been passed down thru generations that have worked. Go figure. When the Hensons were paying big bucks for simple oregano they could have bought it from the dollar tree for $1.25. No brains, no headaches
